Kawasaki Versys
After witnessing the touring trend in the Indian motorcycling scene, Kawasaki brought the Versys, which is a more touring friendly version of the already capable Ninja 650. Useful features like a tall windscreen, comfortable ergonomics and the high seating position makes the Versys an effortless mile muncher. The addition of ABS is a welcome move, particularly for a premium middleweight motorcycle. The Versys is priced at INR 6.6 Lac, ex-showroom, New Delhi.

I think, there was a comparison video done by Overdrive.. Check in YouTube. Being a Versys 650 owner, I would not prefer TRK502 due to its weight, under power engine, reliability issues and past history of the brand Benelli in India. You must look between V-Strom 650 and Versys 650 if you are in market to buy one.

Around 7k for every 6000 kms....then you can add tyres and brake pads and other wear and tear parts as extra.

In India, I don't think so. All you need is a two wheeler (with gear) license.

It's a tall bike. I am 5'10 and just about to tiptoe. However there are lowering options available. Once on the move it's one of the easier big bikes to handle. Do have a test ride and decide.

On straight road, its not a big problem. Only in traffic and other off-road areas, you will feel the seat height a major issue. Its 840mm and seat is bit wider which makes sitting comfortable but flat footing difficult. Test ride and decide if it suits you.

Its a very good touring machine mostly tarmac friendly. The stock tyres are useless so as the stock headlight. The seat height is the biggest concern also the seat is wide which makes more comfort but flat footing both side impossible for anyone below 5.10.The ride quality and comfort is wonderful and i wish it had traction control which will make is a good allrounder.I can tell you that versys is one of the best touring bike currently available in market at this price band.If someone is looking for a good tourer for road use then versys is the best bet and if you are looking for bit of off-road then v-storm 650 looks better.

Happy with the bike because it takes you places, pushes you to corners, and does a bit of everything that you expect. Brings a smile to my face everytime I ride it. Gives me a feeling of everlasting love for it after every ride.
