Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Vulcan S
Q. Is Kawasaki Vulcan available in 250cc?
Q. What is the maintenance cost per annum - Vulcan S?
Q. I am planning to buy my first bike. My shortlisted choices are very small Vulcan S650 and Versys 650. Considering Indian road conditions, which bike would you recommend me? My budget is around 6.5 lakhs INR. Any other options are also welcome.Sathish | 2 weeks ago
These are entirely different types of bikes - Cruiser and Semi ADV. Secondly Versys is more expensive and it isn’t available for Rs 6.5 Lac (assuming you are not buying a used one). I paid Rs 7.08 Lac for Vulcan itself (Bengaluru). Both are big bikes. Versys is a little more gigantic/bulky than Vulcan making it difficult to be a daily commuter. Vulcan May be slightly better on this aspect, but it has a pathetic 130 mm ground clearance which makes it somewhat difficult to ride over speed bumps and potholes in Cities. But Versys is a better All-rounder compared to Vulcan since it has some off-roading capability. If you are ok with the might/bulk of Versys and its higher Price, Versys May be a better choice.( I wanted Cruiser, so I chose Vulcan ).However, if your rides are a good combination of daily commute and touring, Z650 and Ninja650 are better options compared to Versys and Vulcan.
Q. Planning to buy cruiser personally i m confused between 3 bikes Hyosung Aquila pro Kawasaki Vulcan s Harley street 750 my personal favorite so far is Aquila pro but i m concerned about servicing and after sale support.Zigwheels | 5 months ago
According to your requirement for a perfect cruiser with the best performance, and good service support. The Harley Davidson Street 750 has been empowered by the most powerful and refined V twin engine in terms of performance than the other two competitors. Street 750 would be an ideal cruiser with a great riding posture and amazing riding ergonomics. The Harley Davidson is also known to provide great aftersale support which makes it a trusted brand in terms of service. The Kawasaki Vulcan S has been loaded with great features and aggressive dynamics, the bike has an amazing stance. The Vulcan S gets a mono shock suspension at the back which is very rear to get in a cruiser bike. The Hyusong Aquilla is a great bike offered at a great price but as Hyusong is building up in terms of service and after sale support.
