Indian Scout Bobber Suspension, Brakes & Other Details
The Indian Scout Bobber gets a 41mm telescopic fork with 120mm wheel travel and dual shock absorbers with 51mm wheel travel. Braking duties are taken care of by a 298mm front disc with a 2-piston caliper and a 298mm rear disc with a 1-piston caliper. The Scout Bobber gets a ground clearance of 109mm, fuel tank capacity of 13 litres, seat height of 665mm, kerb weight of 246kg and wheelbase of 1562mm.
Indian Scout Bobber Features
The Indian Scout Bobber comes equipped with an analogue instrument console with a digital inset in its Standard trim along with dual-channel ABS and an LED headlight. In the Limited trim, the bobber gets premium badging, traction control, cruise control, USB charging point and ride modes: Sport, Standard and Tour. In the top-spec Limited +Tech trim, it gets a 4-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation and keyless ignition.
2021 Indian Scout Bobber
In true bobber tradition, the Indian Scout Bobber features a chopped front fender and rear mudguard along with fatter tyres to give it a stripped-down look. The headlight cover is also different and most of the parts have been blacked out to give the Indian Scout Bobber a mean look. The new bike also gets equipped with a redesigned single saddle, a badge on the tank and bar-end mirrors.
The rear suspension travel has been lowered by 45mm to give it a better stance, while the telescopic front forks now get new cartridges.
Powering the new motorcycle is the same engine as seen on the Indian Scout. The 1,113cc V-twin engine delivers 100PS of power and 98Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel by a six-speed transmission. Braking is done by a single 298mm-dia disc brake at front and rear, while ABS is an optional extra in the US market but it would most likely be standard in India. The bike rides on a 130/90 R16 tyre at the front and a 150/80 R16 tyre at the rear.
The Scout Bobber has a 12.5-litre fuel tank and weighs 251kg. The new Scout Bobber will be available in the following five colours - Thunder Black, Star Silver Smoke, Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red, and Thunder Black Smoke.

- All bikes are good in their own forte. The bike features a liquid-cooled, V-Twin 1133cc engine with a closed loop fuel-injection system that makes out a max power of 94hp and a peak torque of 97Nm at 5,600rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Bobber gets a raw look with a blacked-out engine, frame, exhaust, handlebars, and mirrors. With the least amount of chrome, the bobber looks absolutely dashing. It is equipped with a dual-tone leather seat, minimalist LED tail lamp, chopped front, and rear fenders, and black cast aluminum wheels. There are a black analog single pod and an all-new Indian Scout badge on the fuel tank. If you want to go for a better fit and finish, you may opt for Indian Scout Bobber but the after-sales services are a bit of a concern. On the other hand, the new Harley Davidson Forty-Eight is more expensive than its BS4 predecessor. Torque and weight have remained unchanged. Distinctive features include a low solo seat, under-mounted mirrors, side mount license plate, clean rear fender and tall and fat front tire, new front fork sliders, a tall and fat front tire, and slammed rear suspension, With Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), shorty dual exhaust, forward foot controls, low profile custom handlebar, fork-mounted turn signals, slammed speedometer mounting bracket and fork brace with lightening holes. Harley Davidson's after-sales services are better than Indian. And the Triumph Bonneville Bobber features the old-school hardtail look with bobbed fenders and a floating single-piece seat suspended on a cantilever spring system, which can be moved forward or backward to suit the rider’s height. It retains its stainless steel slash-cut exhausts. A dash of the modern appeal comes with full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, ride-by-wire, and two riding modes. Besides, cruise control also comes standard.

- Roadster has an aggressive riding position, almost like that of a naked bike, i don't get tired on it even if i do 1000kms in 1 day, indian scout and bobber both have forward controls, which personally i am not comfortable with, for city rides i wont recommend roadster as it will heat up in bumper to bumper traffic or not doing more than 3rd gear. cant say about heating issues on indian bikes. havent come across any owner while riding so far.
