Hyosung Aquila Pro Latest Updates

Hyosung, under its new parent company Motoroyale (owned by Kinetic), has relaunched its flagship cruiser the Aquila Pro 650 in the country. Priced at Rs 5.55 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), the bike rivals the Kawasaki Vulcan S, Harley-Davidson Street 750 and the upcoming Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The Aquila Pro 650 could be a potent long-distance machine, thanks to the laid-back ergonomics, large 17-litre fuel tank and a liquid-cooled V-twin. Its 678.2cc engine puts out 62.5PS at 8000rpm and 57.3Nm at 7000rpm, paired with a 5-speed transmission that sends power to the rear wheel via a belt drive.

The frame is suspended on inverted forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Large 300mm dual front discs and a 270mm rear disc bring this behemoth to a halt. The bike comes with standard dual-channel ABS as well. The Aquila Pro 650, along with other Hyosung products will now be retailed through Motoroyale’s multibrand dealerships, sharing showroom space with the likes of the MV Agusta, FB Mondial and the likes.

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Aquila Pro

Q. Planning to buy cruiser personally i m confused between 3 bikes Hyosung Aquila pro Kawasaki Vulcan s Harley street 750 my personal favorite so far is Aquila pro but i m concerned about servicing and after sale support.
  • According to your requirement for a perfect cruiser with the best performance, and good service support. The Harley Davidson Street 750 has been empowered by the most powerful and refined V twin engine in terms of performance than the other two competitors. Street 750 would be an ideal cruiser with a great riding posture and amazing riding ergonomics. The Harley Davidson is also known to provide great aftersale support which makes it a trusted brand in terms of service. The Kawasaki Vulcan S has been loaded with great features and aggressive dynamics, the bike has an amazing stance. The Vulcan S gets a mono shock suspension at the back which is very rear to get in a cruiser bike. The Hyusong Aquilla is a great bike offered at a great price but as Hyusong is building up in terms of service and after sale support.
Q. 1)How comfortable this bike for long riding like 2000-4000 kms? 2)Is it capable to survive in harsh road as well as weather conditions like Leh Ladakh - Aquila Pro?
  • Hyosung GV650 Aquila Pro is powered by a 647 cc DOHC, water-cooled 90 degree V-twin. Pushing out 75 PS at a heady 9000 rpm and 62.1 Nm @ 7500 rpm, this isn’t your typical cruiser engine. Transferring all that power to the rear wheels via a belt is a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. As a cruiser, its performance is sensational and you won't feel any issue in long rides. The ergonomics have been beautifully balanced for those long rides and overall quality of materials is good. In our test, the Aquila managed 15.5 kmpl in the city and 22 kmpl on the highways giving it an overall figure of 17 kmpl which is on the lesser side. With a 16 litre tank, the Aquila managed 272 km which means frequent fuel stops during those long rides. But then the Aquila is meant to plaster a smile on your face when you crack that throttle open and not by less frequent fuel stops and it excels where it matters. Very comfortable as an easy rider style. Although not fast she is good for a 125cc. Great for cruising around all day admiring the County Down.scenery. When I was working I rode 14 miles per day plus 10 miles round trip shopping. Did other little runs, and I only filled her with.fuel once a fortnight. Never worked out the actual mpg, but was very pleased with her performance.
