Latest On Hyosung Aquila Pro

Hyosung, under its new parent company Motoroyale (owned by Kinetic), has relaunched its flagship cruiser the Aquila Pro 650 in the country. Priced at Rs 5.55 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), the bike rivals the Kawasaki Vulcan S, Harley-Davidson Street 750 and the upcoming Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The Aquila Pro 650 could be a potent long-distance machine, thanks to the laid-back ergonomics, large 17-litre fuel tank and a liquid-cooled V-twin. Its 678.2cc engine puts out 62.5PS at 8000rpm and 57.3Nm at 7000rpm, paired with a 5-speed transmission that sends power to the rear wheel via a belt drive.

The frame is suspended on inverted forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Large 300mm dual front discs and a 270mm rear disc bring this behemoth to a halt. The bike comes with standard dual-channel ABS as well. The Aquila Pro 650, along with other Hyosung products will now be retailed through Motoroyale’s multibrand dealerships, sharing showroom space with the likes of the MV Agusta, FB Mondial and the likes.

Hyosung Aquila Pro Highlights

The Hyosung GV650 Aquila Pro is a laidback cruiser with enough firepower to challenge sports motorcycles. As a cruiser, its performance is sensational and can surpass that of more expensive rivals; fuel efficiency suffers. though. Hyosung has got the looks spot on with those beautiful sweeping lines and have not overdone it with too much chrome detailing. The ergonomics have been beautifully balanced for those long rides and overall quality of materials is good.
