Hero Xtreme 200S gets a 130/70-17 rear tyre. Moreover, you may have 140/70 R17 tyre installed at the rear but going for a even bigger tyre then this would not be a feasible idea. Manufacturers do leave some space for customers if they want to install wider tyres. The ideal maximum calculated upgrade that can be done without upsetting the bikes riding dynamics is around 3% of the original size of the wheel rim. Any upgrade above this will result in a noticeable drop in fuel efficiency and compromise on ride and handling. Bajaj Pulsar 180F captures the essence of the Pulsar 220F and is an ideal motorcycle for those who wanted the larger Pulsar but didn’t have the budget for it. Moreover, the only reason we see someone purchasing the Pulsar 180F over its larger sibling is if the buyer is on a tight budget. But, even around the same price point, you also have better options such as the Hero Xtreme 200S. If you are looking for a powerful commuter that can handle the daily duties really well, offers comfortable seating position, looks stylish and rides well then the Xtreme 200S would be a better option for you. As for the mileage, the Pulsar 180F managed to deliver almost 48kmpl in our highway run and 48.95kmpl in the city test. The mileage figure for the Xtreme 200S are yet to be revealed but we expect it to be around 35-40kmpl. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

Selecting between the options would depend on certain factors such as your budget, features required, ride quality, preference of the segment, etc. The Xtreme 200S could be a good potion if you are looking for a more powerful commuter motorcycle, which looks stylish and generally rides well. Get the RTR 4v, looks are subjective, but as for performance it's best in the segment.
While the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 BS6 might not have many tangible features to justify the price hike due to BS6 norms, it more than makes up for it with raw performance. In fact, it is the most powerful motorcycle in its segment, making it ideal for enthusiasts who prioritize performance over anything else. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been the benchmark when it comes to 160cc motorcycles. With the BS6-compliant iteration, TVS has made sure it is still as sprightly as ever despite the slight drop in power and torque figures. The overall package and reasonable pricing make it a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment. Pricing is almost similar, but choosing between a fully fared and naked motorcyle depends on your needs. Looks are tollaly subjective.
I really argee with mr Amol. I too have a xtream 200r, brought in 1feb 2019.Firsrly after some day there is sound coming from engine a kind of tic tic noise. But don't worry the sound is only coming from loose rocker head and timing chain, I too faced this problem. I replace them with new one and a yeqr has passed it show no problem what so ever, and engine heat issue Mr amol please change your engine oil, I mean how can hero suggest same engine oil for 97cc and 200 cc??? So please cange your engine oil to a good one with 10w40 grade and more over its a air cooled bike so don't try to give notice on engine heat, i can ensure you if you are not frequently redlining your bike in a very hot it will never overheat and stop working.
True indeed service quality is very bad and many routine checks are skipped and they don't want customers on their floor so that they cannot find out that they are being fooled. I myself get the bike serviced from a service center 100 km away as the showroom I bought my vehicle doesn't have any good mechanics who can detect the problems just by riding the bike.
Agar Kisi customer ko Hero Xtreme 200 lena hai to galti se mile keynote iska engine performance Dekha Hai ek mahine mein meri gaadi mein Awaz Suna Chahta Ho Gaya Hai engine heat ho raha hai aur company wale usko sudharne ke vajah se ek mahine Mein Mera Indian Khoj kyu naya Banaya Hua problem a raha hai iska matlab gadi fail Hai aur showroom wale Hero wali usko sudharne ke liye 5 saal ki warranty hoti hai Fir Bhi Koi fayda nahi hai isase achha hai hi yeh gaadi aap Na De aur dusri company se Lele Mein pastarahu aap ye galti na kare
If you hear the word less maintenance its Hero only so also in Mileage comfort i think Extreme does a pretty good job. BUT BUT BUT In India having a pretty good performance is not a matter but it the bikes has to be PRETTY AND STYLISH that's where The SF rule out Extreme 200
Gixxer SF is overall better than hero Xtreme because maintenance and power both are feeling Gixxer SF long time I am goes to Gixxer sf
Definitely go for gixxer caus you probably know about Japanese bike's engine refinement level hero can't compete with suzuki in terms of engine refinement.suzuki is miles ahed of heroconsidering the cost of maintenance both or same.

According to me Gixxer is the best option for ride and maintenance because I’m doing servicing in every month and near about 3000 km and no need any service in the between 3000 km and mileage also good
