Hero Super Splendor Xtec

Powering the Hero Super Splendor Xtec is a fuel-injected 125cc engine making 10.87PS at 7500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6000rpm. Mated to a five-speed gearbox. It runs on a telescopic fork and dual shock absorber suspension setup, It comes with a 793mm tall seat, flaunts a 180mm ground clearance and tips the scales at 123kg for the disc variant and 122kg for the drum (both kerb). The Super Splendor Xtec rolls on 18-inch wheels for better stability. For braking, the commuter gets an optional 240mm front disc brake or a 130mm drum unit, and 130mm rear drum unit.

Hero Super Splendor Xtec’s drum brake variant costs Rs 83,368 whereas the disc brake trim costs Rs 87,268, both prices ex-showroom Delhi.

The Hero Super Splendor Xtec adopts a commuter design language with slight sporty touches to it. It gets a LED headlight and DRL,sportier graphics than the standard model and is available in three shades: Gloss Black, Matt Axis Grey and Candy Blazing Red.

Despite being an affordable 125cc commuter bike, the Super Splendor Xtec comes with quite a few nifty features. It comes equipped with a fully digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS alerts, and indicates real time mileage, low fuel, service reminder and malfunction alerts. Apart from that, you also get a USB charging port, Hero’s i3S Start-Stop Tech, side stand engine kill function, and a bank angle sensor that switches off the motorcycle if it falls to its side.

The Hero Super Splendor Xtec rivals the likes of Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar 125 and the Bajaj CT 125X.
