About Hero
Latest Update on Hero Bikes
At Hero World 2024, Hero launched the all-new Hero Xtreme 125R, a direct rival to the TVS Raider 125 and also unveiled the all-new Hero Mavrick 440. The Mavrick 440 is based on the Harley-Davidson X440’s platform. In 2023, Hero MotoCorp revived the iconic nameplate, Karizma, in the form of the Hero Karizma XMR. Also launched was the Harley-Davidson X440, developed in partnership with Hero Bikes. The X440 is the most affordable Harley-Davidson bike on sale. Apart from that, in 2023, Hero showcased its two new scooter offerings, the Hero Xoom 160 maxi-scooter and the Hero Xoom 125R. These two scooters were also showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. Currently, the company is working on a bigger XPulse based on the X440’s platform and it has been spotted testing. Also spotted testing are the upcoming Hero Xpulse 210 and the Xtreme 210 and after looking at the spy shots, it looks like the Karizma XMR’s liquid-cooled engine will be powering those motorcycles.
Origin
Hero MotoCorp, formerly known as Hero Honda, is an Indian motorcycle and scooter manufacturer that has been in operation since 1984. The company was formed as a joint venture between Hero Cycles, one of India's largest bicycle manufacturers, and Honda Motor Company of Japan.
The partnership between Hero Cycles and Honda Motor Company was a major success, with the two companies quickly becoming the largest motorcycle manufacturers in India. The joint venture resulted in the formation of Hero Honda Motors Limited, with Hero Cycles owning a majority stake in the company.
In the years that followed, Hero Honda Motors Limited became known for producing some of the most popular motorcycles in India, including the CD 100, Splendor, and Passion. These motorcycles were known for their reliability, affordability, and fuel efficiency, and quickly became bestsellers in the Indian market.
In 2010, after nearly three decades of partnership, Hero Cycles and Honda Motor Company decided to end their joint venture. The split was amicable, with both companies agreeing to continue to use the "Hero" brand name and logo for a period of time.
After the split, Hero MotoCorp continued to manufacture and sell motorcycles and scooters under the Hero brand. Today, Hero MotoCorp is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, with a market share of over 35%. Hero also collaborated with Speedbrain to develop a rally bike and compete in the Dakar Rally, the world’s most gruelling off-road race.
Production facilities/Dealership Network
Hero MotoCorp currently has five manufacturing facilities in India based at Dharuhera, Gurugram, Neemrana, Haridwar and Halol. The company also boasts the country’s most advanced R&D facility called the CIT (Centre for Innovation and Technology) outside Jaipur. The company also claims to have over 9000 customer touchpoints across India.

Is splendor plus bs6 good for a long drive? the fuel capacity of hero splendor plus is about 9.8l and it offers a mileage of 60 kmpl.As it has a large fuel tank, The rider does not need to get it refilled constantly while on a long drive is splendor plus comfortable?the seat of the hero splendor plus is relatively comfortable for short to medium distances. It is adequately cushioned and wide enough to accommodate most riders. However, For longer rides, Riders may need to take breaks to prevent fatigue and discomfort.

Super Splendor4.31709 reviewsDaily usage
I purchased my bike almost 1 year ago.At that time super splendor was quite famous.I didn't look for features at that time and purchased my bike for rs.82000.But when i rode it the first time i was quite happy and surprised seeing it's a comfortable ride. Its seat is so comfortable. Its head (from the front) is so good as compared to any other bike.It is so good by its look for regular use.It looks amazing if maintained and serviced properly. Its braking system is normal. Its service system is amazing and not so expensive. The staff is also good.I would describe some pros and cons of the bike- pros-1) the best bike for daily usage.2) good-looking formal bike.3) this bike is well known for its fuel efficiency.4) good mileage5) super comfortable seat.Cons-1) it needs maintenance at regular intervals otherwise it is not good.(depends on user)2) not good if used for traveling long distances.3) not good for things like overtaking highways.4) it is not so customizable.(for bike lovers)5) quite expensivetips for hero super splendorit should be maintained properly if you want to take its full advantage and also change its engine oil at regular intervals as it sometimes affects the mileage of the bike.
