Q. Which one is better Triumph Street Twin or Street Rod?

Q. Which is the best bike Iron 883 or Street Rod?Zigwheels | 4 months ago
Harley-Davidson India expanded its Sportster family by launching the new 1200 Custom and Iron 883 was also there in the Indian market for such long. both the motorcycles are very good to ride but if you needed a bigger engine for the longer cruise then you can go for Street Rod but if you needed a more siffed and settled ride for the city traffic then you go for the Iron 833. We can not say anything on the riding posture because Harley-Davidson gives huge in house custom options in terms of each and every part and accessories. To know more about this we suggest you take a test ride of the vehicle and then decide the comfort and ergonomics of the vehicle. The best pick here among the two would be Iron 883, power delivery is smooth and comes complimentary with the legendary Harley rumble that has been so iconic over the years. But luckily, the complete package won’t leave you desperately grasping on to the handlebars as you give the throttle a full whack of the right wrist, making the Iron a sweet bike to show off in even when in the city. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts. The Street Rod has the highest Weight to Power Ratio in the Harley stable. No bike in its original factory configuration can beat its acceleration. Top speed wise yes, the heavier bikes are bound to be more stable but comparing SR with 883 the only extra in 883 is higher exhaust sound and more swanky looks with double exhaust. From my point of view these cosmetic enhancements are not worth the extra cost. SR anyday!
Q. I want to buy street rod 750. howz the performance ?????Zigwheels | 7 months ago
The engine and chassis are borrowed from the Street 750 are reworked extensively. The 750cc V-twin from the Street 750 uses twin-port fuel injection now. The new cylinder heads have revised intake ports and cams that open higher. Compression ratio is higher. The redline is now set at 9000rpm instead of 8000. It has larger, drag-inspired airbox assembly. The upgraded motor makes 18 percent more power and 8 percent more torque. Output now is 68.4PS @ 8750rpm and 62Nm @ 4000rpm. The exhaust system gets a shorter tailpipe which has a wider outlet for a more pronounced exhaust note. Q. Hello sir street rod or z650 for city commute?Zigwheels | 11 months ago
The Street Rod has a lot more character than the Street 750; not just visually, but in terms of the riding experience too. The Street Rod is a motorcycle for more experienced riders who want a smaller motorcycle for riding around town. It looks a whole lot sportier, offers better performance and handles a lot better too. Harley-Davidson says it has worked extensively on improving quality levels and fit-finish levels, and our test bike’s quality echeoed that promise. The Rod has taken up the mantle of the thrill-seeking back-alley brawler of the Street family. On the other hand, the Z650 retails at Rs 5.19 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi and that is fantastic value even if you simply consider the addition of ABS and the slipper clutch, both of which make the bike a lot safer, and more dummy proof. It is a good buy for a wide range of motorcyclists – be it someone upgrading from a single cylinder machine, with its friendliness and easy rideability, or experienced riders who wanted an easy going middleweight as compared to their more potent litre-class machine. Its compact dimensions, lighter weight, shorter seat height and even more linear power delivery make it more accessible to amateur riders, while experienced riders get to revel in its improved performance and dynamics. The Z650 makes a good step-up for buyers graduating from 250cc single-cylinder bikes and has performance and dynamics good enough to keep them happy for a long time while also being unintimidating enough for them to get quickly used to. It returned 23.77kmpl in our highway tests and 21.16kmpl in the city test. To sum up - There’s ample low to mid-range grunt which is a boon in the city and in fact, the improved agility means the Z650 feels almost as nimble to ride as a 150! Initial throttle response is smoother, and riding in the city is more an easier affair.
