    The Bajaj Dominar 400

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is Bajaj's first offering in the 400cc segment. With sharp styling and an aggressive stance the twilight plum is a looker. Taking on any terrain from right hair pin bends to the outback landscape it is doable thanks to the high revving engine backed by the power in almost every gear

  • My Experience

Hello to everyone it's Prashant Mehra from Jodhpur Rajasthan. Hope you all are doing well in your life. Now1come straight to the point I have a Bajaj d400 from starting with me my Dominar model year is 2018. Firstly as human beings, we go to showroom of any motor company we already have deeply researched lots of1things about that particular machine and with very excited heart beats also. But not have been experienced it1in our day-to-day life and how it going to affect us on life's every single moment with it. I mean to say that1if your vehicle is giving you the best output you want from it on every single throttle then your hard-earned1money of yours is going to give you the true outcome of every single second you have been given to earn money1to buy that machine. 1. Now my driving experience is Bajaj Dominar 400. In driving it is just a super machine it's not a normal bike1like under 400cc segment pulsar generation's or like Karizma or duke and Royal Enfield it's a different hybrid1bike it is sports with cruising both capabilities. I love it when I ride it on highways. In simple words, it1is a powerful and heavy machine in the 400cc bike segment. 2. Now its mileage gives me 27 to 30 km per liter1on my throttling. 3. Pickup of the bike is just super it is going to give you a really super adrenal rush in1your body with its own heavy weight as compared to duke390 - duke390 is lighter and runs faster than the d4001but d400 is also a relaxing touring machine also. 4. Service cost is very normal on every single normal1servicing under rs- 2000 to 5000 like labor charge engine oil chain like some small parts like brake pads etc.1But if you have accidental issues or any parts damaged with your bike then it can be under rs-10000 or more then that it depends on the price of that particular part. 5. Braking of the bike is just super1with abs in it by bajaj. 6. Headlights or turning indicators and tail lights are also fabulous at night. 7.1Build quality is up to the mark everything used in this bike is very sturdy and of the best quality is1plastic-rubber or iron-steel in it every single nut and bolt with its rubber rings. 8. Now about its engine1it is having a sharing engine of ktm with some changes of bajaj engineering in it. Very reliable and smooth1engine. Sometimes it got heated very fast but thanks to the liquid cooler in it by bajaj. Some people and1riders will say that its engine gives a little bit lagging feel not instant throttling like duke390 but I will1say its throttling is very very minor we can say milliseconds slow as compared to Duke390 it's good in my1opinion because it was built for touring purpose also so your back wheel is not going to slip on muddy or1dusty roads. That's all from my side of the experience of the bajaj Dominar 400cc bike of mine.
