Q. Is it good for a family?

No, it is not a family bike. It is a naked street bike that shares its design style with its elder sibling S 1000 R. It is bolted on a rigid tubular steel frame. The front fascia features a sporty headlight fairing. It gets a fully digital instrument console that consists of speedometer, gear-position indicator, average fuel consumption, engine temperature, fuel level, tachometer, odometer and average speed. If you're sports enthusiast then this bike will be an ideal choice for you.

Amit_Kar has asked a question about G 310 R
Q. Hi is this suitable for daily rides under Mumbai traffic... I mean does it cause back pain

BMW G 310 R, designed after its elder sibling, the S 1000 R, sports minimal bodywork which will prove to be relatively inexpensive to repair in case of a fall. The paint quality, fit and finish of the roadster are typical BMW standards, by which we mean top notch. Although the absence of a fairing means the rider has to tackle wind blasts which strains the neck on long rides. The street focused G 310 R’s slightly rear-set footpegs with wide handlebars translates to an upright and comfortable riding posture. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort.
