Maruti Brezza

Maruti launched the special Urbano Edition for the Brezza, starting from Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available only with the Lxi and Vxi variants, and gets accessories like reverse parking camera, speakers and infotainment system for a small premium. Along with convenience features, you also get a bunch of styling accessories with the Urbano Edition.

Features: The Maruti Brezza is equipped with features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, wireless phone charger, a 6-speaker sound system, paddle shifters (AT variants), cruise control, heads-up display, automatic AC with rear vents, and keyless entry. In terms of safety, it gets up to six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, seat belt reminders for all passengers, and rear parking sensors.

Engine: The Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which makes 103 PS and 137 Nm and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit, but the power output reduces to 88 PS and 122 Nm and it comes with a 5-speed manual only. The petrol MT variants offer 17.38 kmpl with the LXi and VXi variants and 19.89 kmpl with the ZXi and ZXi+ variants. With the automatic transmission, you get up to 19.80 kmpl. The CNG variants offer 25.51 km/kg. It measures 3995 mm in length, 1790 mm in width and 1685 mm in height. It sits on a 2500 mm wheelbase.

Rivals: The Brezza rivals other subcompact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Citroen Basalt.

Variants: The Brezza can be had in five broad variants: Lxi, Vxi, Vxi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+. It is available in seven monotone: Sizzling Red, Brave Khakhi, Exuberant Blue, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, Pearl Midnight Black, and Pearl Arctic White monotone colours. The Sizzling Red and Splendid Silver can be had with a Midnight Black Roof, while the Brave Khaki can be paired with an Arctic White Roof.
