Kinetic Watts And Volts DX Electric

Kinetic’s new EV-focused subsidiary, Kinetic Watts and Volts Ltd., has filed a design patent for an electric scooter that appears to be a modern version of the iconic Kinetic DX.

The new scooter blends the DX’s styling with modern touches like LED lighting, 12-inch wheels, and a telescopic front fork (the old one had a trailing link setup). It has a familiar silhouette with redesigned side panels, handlebar cowl, and ‘Y’-shaped indicators beside the headlamp.

While official specs are still under wraps, the scooter is expected to feature a mid-mounted motor with a fixed underseat battery, and could offer a claimed range in triple digits.

Targeting the family e-scooter segment, the Kinetic DX Electric will rival the TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, Honda Activa e:, and Vida V2.

Its launch is likely to happen around August 2025, marking Kinetic’s re-entry into the family scooter segment, but with an EV.
