The Karizma XMR 250 has been unveiled at EICMA 2024 and now we have got a first look at this upcoming supersport.
The bike features a similar design language as the Karizma XMR 210, but with a few changes. The brand has made the bike a lot more sharper with the addition of winglets below the headlight section.
The bike will be powered by a new 250cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 30PS and 25Nm. The engine is a brand new motor and is also the same one used as the Hero Xtreme 250R.
Compared to the Karizma XMR 210, the XMR 250 offers an inverted fork and a 6-step monoshock. It rolls on alloy wheels and features a petal disc braking setup at both ends.
It will come with a LCD console and could offer smartphone connectivity and features such as call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.
We can expect more updates about the bike to be revealed at Hero World , which will take place in January 2025. We expect the bike to be priced around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). When it comes to rivals, the closest supersport alternative to the XMR 250 will be the TVS Apache RR 310, but the price difference between both will be massive. Other alternatives in the 250cc segment include the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
