RushLane has posted in its website, a rendering of the recently launched TVS Apache RTR 200 4V in its fully faired avatar. The Fully faired version of the TVS Apache 200 looks cool enough being the first fully faired motorcycle from TVS. It looks somewhat similar to the Suzuki Gixxer SF in profile to me. Furthermore, it will be a worthy alternative to the semi-faired Bajaj Pulsar 200F, Hero Karizma R and Karizma ZMR and KTM RC 200.
But the top officials of TVS motor company has stated that they have no plans of launching a fully faired version of the Apache 200 4V in near future. But i hope this may change in the future (or during next generation launch of Apache Series) and the company may launch this new motorcycle if demand rises for the Apache RTR series motorcycles.
Arvind Fluidic The next generation Apache will have to come with a liquid cooled powerplant if they want to be in the game. The current RTR 200 can't really compete with the 200+cc liquid cooled motorcycles owing to its engine and transmission limitations. That reminds me of the upcoming bike- the Akula 310. If TVS manages to launch that bike at the right time (when the G310R and 2017 390 Duke come into the picture), then TVS has a really good potential to compete in the budget performance segment!
