After BMW released two teaser images of the New X2 concept, the concept has been officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The upcoming production version of the new X2 will draw heavy inspiration from the X2 concept in terms of design, which itself sports a new dynamic design! But as with every Concept-Production cycle, it is safer to expect the production X2 to be slightly toned down in some design aspects. The exterior includes the different looking 2 Kidney grill, new full-LED Headlights with LED daytime running lights and new taillights as well as a wide angular opening for the front fog lamps. The rear include the funky looking LED taillights and the two large exhaust vents and also sports 4 larger set of wheels. The interiors have not been revealed yet. Powertrain options are widely expected to be 2-litre petrol and diesel engines with the power output of 200+ bhp. When launched in International markets in 2017. it will rival the Range Rover Evoque and the Audi Q4. But no word on its launch in India, but we can expect this here sometime in late 2017 or early 2018, as BMW is in the race for the crown position among the three German brands, in which the crown is currently owned by Audi.
