- I recently test drove both Nexon and venue diesel What I liked in venue was the premium interior fit and finish, very comfortable front seats, slightly bigger sunroof, butter smooth refined diesel engine with a very decent mileage. Without its safety rating, could not comment on the platform of the car..With every youtuber and vloggers talking about gncap 5 star safety, I wished to buy Nexon. On an average if I want to get the features what I get in venue sx diesel in Nexon I have to pay an additional premium of 1.8 lakhs.Teek hai, y don we do that for a safe car and decided to test drive the car. The car looked rock solid in the showroom. When I took the car on road, I started felling n number of complaints. My head was touching the roof though am not tall, the clutch was deeper and deeper and If my leg needed a short travel, I needed to push the seat more forward which is not a safe option.Started the engine and the entire car vibrated on starting the engine. Pushed the engine. Biggg turbo lag on 2nd gear. God knows where the 260 NM torque is???? Not punchy at all. Very noisy cabin. When I started saying the sales assistant increased the fan speed and the music volume. Harmans music system was not even upto the level of arkamys music system of venue. So now tell me, should I give the extra premium of 1.8 lakhs and compromise with the poor refinement of the diesel engine and noisy cabin for the lifetime?? I'm not a feature minded guy. While platform is the basement of the car, engine is the heart of the car. I would not prefer Nexon for people who are keen drivers, who love to be in a silent insulated refined cabin with a butter smooth refined diesel engine with a good torque and mileage. Of course safety should not be compromised. But the real fact is No single car is perfect..
- As regarding features I would say the Tata Nexon is superior because both have more or less similar features- the important ones. However Nexon has the most important features of space, ground clearance and bigger tyres even in lower variants which enhances the SUV look. As regards the engine the turbo engine in both have their pluses. As regards the automatic the Hyundai has a slight edge. Overall I feel the Nexon has an edge
- If you only need car then go for nexon ,but the venue is even supirior then nexon that's for sure interior cabin premium ,even service and responce from Hyundai team is also better than tata, one more thing nexon scored 5 star safety but venue score 4 but both are safer and venue's performance is simply amazing than nexoncongratulations for your new car
- The delay for Tata #Nexon has started since Oct 2020. earlier The Showroom Sales executive will say the waiting period is 4-5 weeks. However, if you raise a complaint through Higher authorities you get a call and the TATA person will inform you that the waiting period is 8-10 weeks and not 4-5 weeks. Same thing happened with me, I booked #TATANEXON on 26th Dec 2020. I was assured by Showroom that car will be delivered by End of Jan 2021. I'm writing this on 17th Feb 2021 and still there is no sign from the Dealer. During Last week of Jan 2021 I raised an Online complaint, so I received a call from a Territory Manager. He told me that waiting period is not 4-5 weeks but 8-10 weeks, I was disappointed with the reply, so he connected me with Dealer on the same call, there the Territory manager asked the Dealer what is the Waiting period for Tata Nexon as per their official email, and dealer said its 8-10 weeks. Then I intervened and said I was told by the Executive as 4-5 weeks, then the dealers said we are sorry for the Misinformation, we would try our best to deliver it at the earliest. Since then I've not received any Call or any info about my Car I booked almost 2 months back. I'm not sure if you guys who has recently booked Nexon are facing the same issue.
- Yes ... resale is good ... I sold my petrol vehicle 2017 model which ran 23000 KMS at 6 Lakhs at TATA showroom in Hyderabad. My petrol Nexon XM was giving me close to 14 KMPL in City and 16 KMPL on highways. I got a new diesel Nexon XM vehicle which is giving me 22.3 KMPL in city and 27.4 on highway ... excellent car ... drive safe ....
- Please don't buy this. maine aur mere friend ne ek sath do ecosport lia. mera gadi 16500 km run hua toh gadi ka front do tyre aur front break disc change karna pada. aur mere friend ka 35k run hua usko 4 tyre, break disc, shock absorber diesel pump change karna pada. toh please agar aap ko ecosport lena b hai toh soch samaj k
- Nexon looks like an upgraded Indica, well most of the tata cars do. Brezza looks more close to a proper SUV. 4 cylinder engine vs 3 cylinder is always debatable. But Suzuki is known for its refinement.Maruti cars age grace fully, and a torque converter automatic is definitely better than the one offered in Nexon.Nexon is still the best alternative to Brezza, I have booked a Brezza automatic Top end and I am waiting eagerly to get it in my parking.
- Tata's build quality has always been strong, we all know this, although I agree that the Brezza is better in terms of service But the question is will you take the Maruti's Brezza to the service center repeatedly because of weak build quality or skip many months without servicing of Nexon due to strong build quality of Tata.
- Does maruti make own engine?they are using Fiat engine from last 15 years. and you are talking about refinement. brezza has lower ground clearance than mein. brezza is just a waste of money. no good music system no quality driving and no ruggedness. but Tata has all and everything. Think and collect information before saying Nexon an indica

HarrierSporty and modern look
It look sporty and modern and the boot space is very large and the interior is very lovely and in terms of sporty interior it is the best. For long journey it is comfortable and the spacing is very nice and is a wide car so there is no problem with this and the 2 litres diesel engine is fantastic and the steering is very light. It is always a fun to drive and the engine noise is now improved. The pickup is very good and gives good performance for the sport mode but the sport mode gives high noise.

It is a fantastic performer SUV that is damn great in both city and for the highways and comes with the great modern features but the ride quality is little stiffer side. Harrierlevel up my driving
The Tata Harrier impresses with its rugged yet refined design, offering ample space for five passengers and their luggage. With a mileage of 16 kmpl, it strikes a good balance between fuel efficiency and performance. The SUV handles well on various terrains, thanks to its all-wheel-drive capability. However, the interior could use more premium materials to enhance the overall luxury feel. Safety features like airbags and ABS ensure peace of mind. Overall, the Harrier is a family-friendly SUV suitable for both city driving and off-road adventures, with room for improvement in interior quality.

Nexon 2017-20204.3I am a log term user of Nexon.
I am a log term user of nexon.Mine is a 1.5diesel dt manual & have driven more than 80000km till date.Biggest plus point is the fuel efficiency & build quality.Being a light footed driver, I get approx 22-23kmpl on highways & 15-16kmpl in city.Coming to build quality, Its excellent.Although, Finishing touches inside the cabin isn't upto the mark, But the 1.5turbo engine with its power made up for the shortcomings.Driving on the highway with this engine is absolutely amazing.Coming to cons: servicing; yes this has been a major shortcoming for tm.I have visited 6 workshops, Condition is similar in every workshop. The mechanics only know basis servicing techniques. For eg: both of my headlights aren't working for last 1 year & after visiting 6 workshops also, They couldn't find the fault.Lastly a local mechanic repaired the lights & charged only rs 300 for that.Understand that my car is from the 1st gen batch & major issues were resolved in the 2nd gen.But given the excellent cars of tm (safety & build quality), I am again thinking to go for tata only.

Nexon 2017-20205.0Driving experience
Driving experience is awesome. The car is a beast.Engine is powerful and the mileage i am getting is 25 kmpl in eco mode, 18 kmpl in sports mode and 22 kmpl in city mode.Service cost of all tata vehicles is high compared to other cars in the segment but definitely worth it.Build quality is nothing to talk about when it comes to tata.

Nexon 2017-20204.0I have xza+ variant driving
I have xza+ variant driving experience: 1.Most of the time fuel emission from 1st to 2nd gear is not so smooth. Some times felt so annoying.2.Driving in hilly area is quite impatient, Specially while going downwards it couldn't identify which gear is suitable for driving, I had to change it to manual for smooth driving.3.I am fond of road trips and went long distances, Drove totally 20000+ km in last 3 years, Covering almost all wester ghats never face any break down not even tyre puncture.4.While going above 100km/hr felt very steady and comfortable not shaking or uncontrolled but just for testing purpose.5.Economy mode is really helpful if you want to save fuel it gives me mileage of around 13.5km/lit and 15km/lit with and without ac in highway and 11.5km/lit and 13km/lit in city with and without ac.However you need so much patience while driving eco mode it transmit the fuel slowly and you need to hit the gas steady do not accelerate aggressively.6.City mode is comparatively faster than eco mode nothing much difference.7.Sports mode is really fast if you don't care about the mileage and just want to go fast this mode is super, I love this mode while chasing the vehicles in highway to overtake it really aggressive.8.Service is good in big city it takes around 8-10 k per service with engine oil changes and need to change engine oil almost 8-10 thousand km or in every year based on the usage.9.Faced problem with sun roof most of the time its functionality failed and couldn't close had to visit service centre multiple times to fix it.10.The most annoying experience is with remote key if your remote key battery is down the car sensor doesn't work to find key even if you put the key in key area it keeps beeping "key not found in loud voice" went service centre few times to make it fix but still its not fixed. And remote battery is getting drained in every 6-8 months don't know about other brand cars but its very bad, It should work at least 2-3 years.11.Seating is very spacious and comfy.12.One major drawback that i found out when i drove someone else car, It is the right side blind spot. This is due to the the width of car body which connect front wind shield glass and driver door glass, That blocks most of the view in right side, To avoid it i used to move my head but for other vehicle it comparatively very less and it doesn't block the view.My overall experience is good with this vehicle.
