- You have many options under 8lakh but if you want good built quality then forget about MARUTI cars.And you want good average to the forget about HYUNDAI petrol cars too. So you left with I20 diesel, Honda amaze (petrol and diesel),Ford figo .So acc. to me I personally suggest you to avoid diesel cars in todays time . So you can go for honda amaze petrol if you want a sedan and ford figo petrol if you want a hatch.i personally recomend you ford figo because it is more fun to drive car .

- Go for a Volkswagen Polo Comfortline TSI. Excellent build quality and safety. Super fun to drive. A great infotainment system (not a touchscreen tho). Good boot space. The perfect size for Indian roads. Overall, a great car for its price. (not like Maruti Suzuki, which are toycars).

- GD is petrol and VD is diesel
- Specifications are the same just a few features added
Q. Which one is better Etios Liva or Swift
- Etios liva is a better option and if you want my personal opinion go for the Hyundai I20it has more features than any hatch both petrol and diesel are good and fun to drive and has lots of space and very comfortable seating
- Liva petrol is good as an engine but not as a car, you feel like sitting in some cheap built car, better buy swift will be more than happy driving it anywhere
- Obviously Liva is better than swift with heavy engine of 1.4

Drive at a constant speed of 80kmph as far as possible on highways and you are going to get a milage of more than 27kmpl.If the road is good you can even cross 30kmpl.I am getting these milages even after seven years and one lakh kms.

After seven years of driving a Toyota Etios Liva and covering around 57,000 kilometers, I've had to replace both shock absorbers, the steering wheel joint, and the front wheel bearing. In contrast, my previous ownership of a Maruti Alto was more reliable when it came to these parts. I've also encountered another owner with similar complaints about the Etios Liva. Based on my personal experience, I would caution against buying a Toyota Liva and suggest considering other brands, which could potentially save you a significant amount on costly replacement parts.
