    Recently Asked User Questions

    Q. Which is the best Jeep compass variant for daily use and use for long ride in month?
    • It depends on how many features you can live without. Sports Plus is a good entry level option with all safety features and same driving dynamics. Top of the line is limited plus with things which make it premium feeling like white leather seats and a huge panaromic sun roof auto Headlamps rain sensing wipers etc. The latest Trailhawk version is 9 speed DCT automatic with 4x4 gearbox and is a serious off-roading vehicle. So there are a lot of variants engines and gearbox options to choose from according to your needs and of course budget
    • The Compass is now available in four variants - Sport, Longitude, Limited and Limited Plus. In addition, a Sport variant-based Bedrock trim and a Black Pack package is now available as well. While the diesel engine is available across variants, the petrol engine is available in the base and top variant only. Notably, it’s only the diesel variant that gets optional 4x4 in the Limited and Limited Plus variant. We’d recommend the Longitude if you aren’t keen on spending a lot for an SUV, and the Limited 4x2 if you know you won’t be mucking about. Whereas, Offers and discounts are provided by the brand and it may also vary according to the city, brand and model. There are scenarios wherein dealers also give attractive deals to their customers. • In our books, the Longitude (O) is the Compass to go for if you want this SUV. Sadly, both the Longitude and the Longitude (O) are not offered with a petrol option which makes the about Rs 2 lakh premium over the Sport variant quite steep. Apart from it, If you’re on a budget and want to join the Jeep bandwagon, this is the variant for you. The Sport trim doesn't skimp on safety either and offers almost all of the Compass' safety features, including ESC and TCS! But Jeep has missed out on some essentials such as rear-parking sensors and the AC is manual, which is disappointing for a car that’s priced over Rs 15 lakh.

    Q. I bought my Jeep Compass Sports Plus Diesel 2.0 on June 2019. My car has BS4 engine and while selling the showroom said, it’s BS6 compliment. Can you explain what does that mean? Because none of the people in the showroom shows any interest after the car is sold. How is it going to impact my car, once BS6 fuel comes to the market? 1. Do I have to be careful, whether it’s BS4 compliant fuel, while refilling? 2. Does any parts needs to be changed to make it compliment to BS6 fuel? If so who is going to bear the cost, since my car is just 6 months old?
    • There won't be any major changes. The only difference between BS4 and BS6 fuel is that BS6 has lesser Sulphur content in its fuel which results in the lesser emission of pollutants. The BS6 fuel will work fine with the BS4 engine. For further assistance, we would suggest you walk into the nearest service centres. You can click on the following link to see the details of the nearest service centres and selecting your city accordingly - Service centre.
    • You don't need to do anything, BS4 diesel car can take BS6 diesel. BS6 fuel will be already loaded with additives so no issue of injector lubrication. From environment point of view, even after putting BS6 fuel your car will not be so much less polluting as the catalytic converters in your car are BS4 compliant
    • No change at all. When ever any “Bharat Stage”(BS) fuel launches in market, it automatically can be compatible for all its lower versions.
    Q. Which is better value for money Jeep Compass Limited plus petrol or KIA Seltos petrol automatic top end?
    • The Petrol in both the SUV’s is a bit lacklustre. Still......it depends upon your use and your prioritises . If it is just the city drive and an occasional highway drive then Seltos would suit you better. If you enjoy driving and want a superb RIDE AND HANDLING vehicle then Seltos doesn’t even come close to Compass.
