- No need to be confusedVerna 1.4 ex crdi is dieselAnd Yaris is petrolIf you really travel at least 2000 km in a month than pick dieselOr else petrol will be sufficeHowever I would suggest you to go for Yaris because Verna variant that you have selected is almost basic in features
- Yaris is one of the biggest flop of all time. It looks hideous, average engines & not to mention the premium pricing Toyota is charging for!! This would be a disaster in long term since resale value will be very poor. Go for Verna. You won't regret your decision.
- Both are good. But if you want average and some more stylist then go for verna and for maintenance cost low go for toyots yaris go buy toyota's parts are high pricable.
Q. I was planning to buy Verna, almost booked it. But now since Ciaz is launched, I am confused on which car to buy. Can you suggest which one to buy in terms of safety, features & functionalities, build quality, engine and power? I am focused more on safety aspect and features. Now Ciaz leads in sales due to new 1.5 l engine and facelift version . Verna gives you best features in style ,comfort safety and offcourse it has best style . Powerwise it is superior due to its engine .it is a tough fight between Ciaz and Verna .In many strengths and corners you have Edge over Ciaz . Hyundai service is good enough . Rear seat space is one area Verna scores less. Since Ciaz is new and maruti's strong backup may help the brand now to surge ahead . Till now in C segment Maruti could not farewell, now Ciaz is made it . Verna is a best buy .nothing to worry. In safety aspects in our view Verna is far better than Ciaz..

- Verna.CRDI is best option bcoz engine is more refined, smooth n powerful than ciaz. Verna is more stylish, sturdy n has great looks. You have to drive the car to believe it. Go for top end model.
Q. What is the difference between 1.6 SX and 1.6 SX Option - Verna?
- I got and drove 2012 model of Verna and 2014 city so I have no idea now if hyundai has made some modifications
- Ventilated seats sunroof drl 6 airbags is available on sx option
- Well depends on the model year. verna i own is 2014 model sx option which have 4 extra airbags and projector headlamps push start button dynamic alloys

Bought verna i bought verna next gen ex variant in 2018 purely as a family car.As it have 1.4 naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 98bhp.It is not at all performance oriented engine.It yas got decent pickup.Milage can he 13-14 in city and 16 to 18 on highways depends on driving style of individual.Ground clearance become problem sometimes when 4 or 5 people sit in the car.Overall good buy for 10.6 lacs on road.
