Q. Which car is best between i10 and Swift?
  • When I decided to buy a car 5 years ago, I was in a dilemma between choosing the Grand 10 and the Suzuki Swift. As my budget was tight I was looking for an affordable car within the price range of 5-6 lakhs. Upon studying the various features present in both Swift VXi and Grand i10 sportz, I discovered that the grand i10 had more features like integrated music system, start/stop ignition switch, power windows(front and rear) etc which was lacking in the Swift Vxi. Finally I went ahead and bought the Grand i10. I have driven it for 5 years now without any issue. I drive in cities, highways and off roads, but there has not been any issue so far. I take it for regular servicing. Regarding fuel economy, the grand i10 delivers an average mileage of 16-18 kmpl. The only thing which I dont like about the i10 is its low ground clearance. So we have to be extra careful while driving on rough, uneven terrain.
  • Avoid latest model swift for now, Build quality is really bad these days, they've reduced Kerb weight of vehicle by 100 kilos, to achieve better mileage, which is not safe for highways. Older swift was good. Buy any car with better build quality and with all standard safety features like Airbags, ABS, EBD. Check NCAP ratings before you buy some car
  • Its the swift if you want nice ride quality and performance but i10 stands out better if you want a car friendly for family. Build quality of both the cars is average. But its the swift who wins as its a better package. Also concider that swift is costier than grand i10.

Q. What is the exact mileage of Grand i10 (Petrol) Sportz in the highway. Which will be better Maruti Swift or Grand i10?
  • On highway it will give u 17 approx where swift will give u 18 - 19 thats the difference because of ride quality and ofcourse due to weight. But weight give u better stability and stronger car.
  • My grand delivers me 19+ on highway ride because of lockdown empty road thats why am getting 19+ mileage. And still I am thinking when my tank gets empty the mileage would be around 20 + and more because have around 14 litres of petrol left
  • I’m using grand i10 petrol from last 1.5 years In city 10 to 12 in highways it’s between 14-16

    High safety and amazing performer

The safety in Mahindra Thar is very high with high score in the safety but gives body roll. The engine is refined and in the city it is very enjoyable and is a very different SUV and the feel of this car is excellent. It offers a lot in good pricing and is a very awsome car to drive and is a winner car from Mahindra but the comfort is not good in the rear seat. The cabin is noise free and i am using petrol engine and the ground clearance is outstanding and the handling is decent.

    Where Adventure Meets Freedom

The Mahindra Thar offers driver like me an unmatched off- road experience and thrilling open- air driving, bringing around adventure and independence together. The Thar is aspects to fluently navigate indeed the most delicate my travelling because to its sturdy lattice, durable design, and prideful 4x4 capabilities. For off- road suckers worldwide, this notorious SUV offers the ultimate sensation of independence and disquisition — whether they are riding along flaxen strands and crawling over boulders.

Ultimate Blend of Adventure and Comfort

Mahindra Thar is multi-faceted off-roader has a combined feature of toughness and modern comforts. Its unique features and design, solid structure and powerful diesel engine allow this vehicle to be in impressive off-road capacity and durability. Thar offers space and driver-friendly infotainment make it suitable for both enthusiastic off roading and daily driving. Yet, it's on-road handling and ride quality is likely to be seen as lacking in comparison to more refined SUV versions. Mahindra Thar is the perfect pick for ones looking for a renowned and off-road oriented SUV with distinct identity and approach.

  • Thar
    Stylish off roader

It is my Mahindra's beast, the Thar is an all terrain and a rugged SUV that also offers impressive off-road functionalities. Its practical and boxy shape is both functional and aesthetic, while the spacious and comfortable place is a pleasure to drive. The Thar packs a powerful engine along with a variety of convenient features, which make it a good choice for adventurers. What stands out is its durability, reliability and affordability, however the long waiting period is the real issue. The Mahindra Thar is a great SUV that meets its purpose without any compromise.

    shan of india

My cousin recently purchased the Mahindra Thar and took me for a spin. While its rugged style and off-road capabilities impressed me, the fuel efficiency left something to be desired. The manual transmission felt smooth, and the all-wheel drive provided excellent traction on rough terrain. However, in urban settings, its bulky build made parking a challenge. Despite its shortcomings in mileage and city maneuverability, the Thar shines on highways and off-road adventures, making it a great choice for adventurous souls.
