Q. My budget is 10-12 lakh. Want to go for diesel. Should I buy Hyundai Creta 1.4 e plus diesel or 1.4 s diesel?? Or should go for i20 active sx diesel? please help.
  • I20 is good but it is kind of dated now and sales are not that great because the introduction of VENUE which is built on the same platform of i20 active.. so instead of paying more for 1.4 lit creta and getting less features in return, go for venue which is correct choice for you. it does the both jobs of hatchback and compact suv, the key point of venue is the ground clearance of 190mm same as i20 active & creta you can glide of over the potholes & speedbrakers with an ease. So i suggest you to go for venue
  • Go for Creta 1.4 EX diesel costing 12L plus (around12.80L) on road price. 1.4 S diesel is minimum 1L costlier. Better to go for Venue 1.4 SX CRDi which has more feature than Creta and in your budget too. It has same power and torque as there in Creta.
  • Both the cars are worthy to buy. In Creta, you will get a commanding view with added ride height but you won't get much features in its base trim. On the other hand, Hyundai i20 Active SX diesel is packed with features that ticks most of the right boxes in a regular buyer list. Though, opting one will depends on your requirement. Do take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort. Click on the link to compare them: https://bit.ly/2LQ9PMV

Q. Which is the best variant in I20 active?
  • Hi you need to elaborate your question, what is option and choices. if you comparing i20 active versus other models, then active is the top of all i20 variants. It has best in class features like 6 airbags, 8 speaker music system, ground clearance better then rest, nice rideability , comfort for 4 including driver, also can accommodate total 5 incl driver, reverse camera, good security features, roof rails, sporty version.
  • Variants are made to suit your price bracket so depends on your budget to decide which is best. in general, top end and one tone below top end are the best
  • It depends on your budget. If you want a normal featured car you can go for i20 magna plus but if you want more efficient features asta(o) is a premium hatch back.

Q. Can Hyundai Grand i10 Nios beat Maruti Suzuki Swift?
  • I am not an expert in this however let me try, I will not compare the variants, will just go by the common points.NIOS back seat is super comfy, Recline angle of rear seat gives you much better siting position. however sitting 3 adults at the back will be tussle. Driver seat with no adjustable head rest.Grand i10 Nios Interiors are based on Off White (very light grey - makes it kind of White Interior Feel) for Bright Family Kind of Feel Car. The 3D kind Dashboard Layout, Bigger 8 Inch Touchscreen and Gloss Black Finish on AC and Center Console makes Grand i10 Nios feels more Premium against Swift, which has all black interiors.Rear AC vents in NIOS.Recline angle of rear seat gives you much better siting position. however sitting 3 adults at the back will be tussle.suspension are really good.I am driving a NIOS AMT, the best thing what I like is the DRVM (Driver rear view monitoring system) which allows you to see what happening at the rear of your car, WHILE DRIVING!! cool feature.Music system is bassy as well, you will not complain about the sound quality. You will always get compliments from other regarding the cabin ambiance, it feels you are in a segment above car.Very light steering wheel, easy to drive in city.AMT is better that Tata and Maruti. Driving experience in not that enthusiastic however you are mostly using it for your daily commutes, there nothing much to worry. And lstly mileage, it’s around 12.2. to 13.5 in city traffic, highways: I haven’t driven it on highways yet :)NIOS gives you a sense of good build quality which Maruti does not. I am not a Maruti fan, but why they don’t sell those cars which they sell in Europe and other countries considering the safety standards.Lastly, I have considered NIOS AMT over Swift
  • The Grand i10 Nios carries forward the same set of 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines. The Swift is offered with a choice of two engines - a 1.3-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre petrol motor. So you will get a good performance out of Maruti Swift but new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets updated interior features and looks with better-built quality. Moreover, we'd suggest you take the test drive of the vehicles so that you can understand the difference between the options which will help you to make a final decision for your purchase - Car Dealer
