    Q. Which car is the best Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos Or Skoda Rapid - TRK 502?
    • The Renault Duster is another improvement over what was already a great car. It's a great looker with a good interior along with a very robust mechanical package, the Duster ticks a lot of our boxes. SO, if you are on a budget and looking for a spacious and comfortable car for your family and often tackles bad road conditions, you may go for Renault Duster. If we talk about Skoda Rapid, it misses out on some creature comforts when you compare it to its rivals but it undercuts most of them in price too. And if you are worried about reliability issues, Skoda is offering a 1 lakh kilometre warranty package with road-side assistance, included in the price of the car. Our recommendation is that you must definitely check out the Rapid if you list driving pleasure in the top three things you consider before buying a new car. It will offer you great performance, and decent fuel efficiency as well. What you will find lacking is space compared to its rivals. But if you are a family of four, it should still suffice. The Seltos impressed us so much that all we could complain about was a lack of under-thigh support and the rather stiff ride quality. Clearly, it has a great mix of style, tech, quality and comfort. When you add the various engine and gearbox options, the trim levels, plus the variants, there is a Kia Seltos for everyone. In terms of shortcomings, the rear seat could have done with a bit more support and the petrol automatic could have been a bit smoother, but other than that the Seltos is hard to fault. And more than anything its pricing makes it one of the hottest picks in the segment. The new Creta feels like it’s lifted its game a step up, and in some ways, even a step and a half up with a more sophisticated ride, comfort and features list. But we’re used to Hyundais being leaders of the pack, especially when it comes to features. And the new Creta does have a few misses in the features department, with no reach adjustment for the steering rack and no auto wipers to name a few. So dominating the segment won’t be a cakewalk but Hyundai has certainly done enough to make you want to test drive the Creta first. So, choosing one will depend on your budget, priorities and requirements. You may compare all these cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Q. Planning to buy Duster RXZ BS6 variant. Was aiming for AWD or CVT if petrol, but both these are discontinued. Is it OK to go for petrol variant of Duster currently ? Or could I opt for some other models like Creta or Kicks or Seltos, which offers good interiors? Please suggest?
    • Well, you can choose to go with Duster petrol as its the best car in this price range with a proper SUV feel and cabin space. The BS6 Duster petrol continues to be offered with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine. It churns out 106PS of power and 142Nm of torque just like its BS4 counterpart and also gets the same feature list, it continues to get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear parking camera, and cruise control. The BS6 Duster comes with standard safety features such as rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front seatbelt reminder, and speed alert. So if you are planning a car in a budget with a well-refined engine then you can choose to go with Duster without having a second thought. And if your plan is to taste luxury, want a bit more powerful engine, and want to try a different brand then you can choose to go with any of the car from your list. Kicks could be a good choice if interiors are at the priority as it gets leather cushioning on the dashboard panel and its very much silent in the cabin. Creta and Seltos are almost similar, it's just about the looks and some features. Both the cars are upgraded with the latest features the only big difference is Creta 2020 gets a panoramic sunroof whereas the Seltos has normal electric sunroof though the interior quality is good and made of hard plastic. So to come on a decision we would suggest you to test drive all the choice you have made so that you can check the performance and comfort of the car. Q. Which is better diesel and patrol in Renault Duster?
    • Manual diesel makes sense 120 and 85 bhp6 gears in 110 version .If you need a petrol go for CVT which makes sense . Also above all your purpose for the car matters most.Diesel can take 100 kms .mixed traffic. Dropping your spouse or child to school within 20 kms to and fro petrol CVT will be the sole choices. Regarding maintenance both carry their substantistive risks!!!
    • That would depend upon your usage of the car. If you drive for about 50 km or above in a day, then you can opt for the diesel-powered car and vice versa. Renault Duster is available with 1.5-litre petrol and a diesel engine that churns out 106PS and 85PS/110PS, respectively. Read more:- Renault Duster Facelift Launched At Rs 7.99 Lakh
    • Diesel 85bhp will give you more reliability. Mileage in highway will save you some money on fuel expenses. But if it’s daily use diesel is better else go for petrol.
