    Q. Which is the best Jeep compass variant for daily use and use for long ride in month?
    • It depends on how many features you can live without. Sports Plus is a good entry level option with all safety features and same driving dynamics. Top of the line is limited plus with things which make it premium feeling like white leather seats and a huge panaromic sun roof auto Headlamps rain sensing wipers etc. The latest Trailhawk version is 9 speed DCT automatic with 4x4 gearbox and is a serious off-roading vehicle. So there are a lot of variants engines and gearbox options to choose from according to your needs and of course budget
    • The Compass is now available in four variants - Sport, Longitude, Limited and Limited Plus. In addition, a Sport variant-based Bedrock trim and a Black Pack package is now available as well. While the diesel engine is available across variants, the petrol engine is available in the base and top variant only. Notably, it’s only the diesel variant that gets optional 4x4 in the Limited and Limited Plus variant. We’d recommend the Longitude if you aren’t keen on spending a lot for an SUV, and the Limited 4x2 if you know you won’t be mucking about. Whereas, Offers and discounts are provided by the brand and it may also vary according to the city, brand and model. There are scenarios wherein dealers also give attractive deals to their customers. • In our books, the Longitude (O) is the Compass to go for if you want this SUV. Sadly, both the Longitude and the Longitude (O) are not offered with a petrol option which makes the about Rs 2 lakh premium over the Sport variant quite steep. Apart from it, If you’re on a budget and want to join the Jeep bandwagon, this is the variant for you. The Sport trim doesn't skimp on safety either and offers almost all of the Compass' safety features, including ESC and TCS! But Jeep has missed out on some essentials such as rear-parking sensors and the AC is manual, which is disappointing for a car that’s priced over Rs 15 lakh.

    Q. I am in a confusion between Compass, Harrier and XUV500.
    • All the three SUV's selected has something going for them. For the Tata Harrier, it’s the large dimensions, design and premium interiors. The Compass is backed up by Jeep’s 4x4 pedigree, while the XUV500 is the only here that can seat seven passengers. Harrier is capable of tackling the crowded and desolate parts of India with ease, it pampers and shields, and comes with a price tag that makes it the all-rounder you had always hoped for. The Compass is a great one to begin with. It’s rock-solid, built to munch miles and ready to get down and dirty. If you can live with the slightly small cabin, it’s a very capable SUV to have in your garage. The XUV500 has always been a trailblazer of sorts, practically creating a segment for itself. The 2018 update sees a welcome change to the engine with more power and the promise of better response as well. Considering the price, the XUV500 still offers a lot of value. The selection here completely depends on one's choice and preference, do take the test drive of the cars to get a clear understanding regarding the ease and comfort offered. Q. Which is better value for money Jeep Compass Limited plus petrol or KIA Seltos petrol automatic top end?
    • The Petrol in both the SUV’s is a bit lacklustre. Still......it depends upon your use and your prioritises . If it is just the city drive and an occasional highway drive then Seltos would suit you better. If you enjoy driving and want a superb RIDE AND HANDLING vehicle then Seltos doesn’t even come close to Compass.
