- Both cars are very good cars . Dzire is built on Swift platform and with three box construction and a fuel efficient engine with good back up of Suzuki service network Approximate Service Cost for Maruti Swift Dzire in 5 year Rs. 40,000 Regarding all new amaze is totally built on a new platform not like earlier Brio variant . The Honda Idtec and Ivtec engines are designed for long lasting services .They perform consistently good always . Approximate Service Cost for Honda Amaze in 3 year Rs. 32000/-. More over first servicing after 10000 km /6 months is said to be free . Honda's three year warranty is a promise of confidence . As per our practical experience Honda amaze is typically a less maintenance prone vehicle and reliable too . Regarding exact estimates you may check with dealers for the right ones

- Both has it's own merits .Dezire comes in petrol diesel and cng ad tour for taxis.It's a value for money package in a swift dezire when petrol variant is a no issue car driving thrill is for the turbo diesel.Amaze on th other hand with the gemi vtec petrolgives you great performance.Diesel is also good.so to summarise for petrol go for amaze diesel dezire .For that posh feel of ownership Amaze scores.Thanks.
- New amaze is slightly better than swift but a bit expensive than swift as well, I personally believe amaze looks better than swift, amaze's interior looks little funky than dzires interior but that's upto individuals to decide which design they like I can't say which one is better because amaze excels alot in terms of performance and has good handling as well, swift dzire is decent in terms of performance and handling I would like say one thing that swift dzire has upper hand in performance compared to amaze is amaze has skinny tires which in return gives good ride quality and steering response but lacks grip in heavy corner when, dzire has better tires and has a little bit more grip than amaze
- I have Celerio 2014 vxi variant. After three years it has very annoying body sound as if it had problem with suspension at rear wheels. Vibration in lower gear and while reversing. Driven only 24840. Not happy with build-up n paint quality. I want to exchange it with either Amaze or Dzire but again confused as Dzire has more mikeage (2.4 more per kilo meter) while Amaze has better build-up, design, premier looks and better after sales service. Suzuki has more service centers but more vehicles and always crowded. Again in Amaze you get four power windows and the required features in the base variant ehereas on Dzire you get those in vix only which cost some 80000+ more

- Diesel and Petrol are equally good, however, it depends on your use, what you should buy. If you are using the car for 40 to 50 KM commute per day then better buy a Diesel car. The price wise Diesel Amaze is more expensive to Petrol Amaze. Nowadays , the priced difference between Petrol and Diesel is hardly ten rupees per liter.,
- In Honda Amaze all variants are good with respect to Safety .In Cars safety comes first . It is offered Dual front air bag, ABS+EBD , Rear parking sensors, iso fix child sets and day night view mirror,Power steering are offered uniform across all models. it is offered in four variants S,E,V and Vx . Vx is the top variant offers best value for money. The E variant is High on economy . In our view S variant will be a good option. May choose accordingly as per your budget .
- Honda S. Price difference of S and V is 50k, but S and V has only three ignorable difference. Fog lamp, Reverse cam and auto AC. No practical difference in Auto AC and manual in car.I had installed branded Fog lamp and reverse cam in 4k only.

During last nine years my scoda rapid has covered 170000 kms and still going strong just last week we visited jaipur in a day and came back, Fuel consumption 18 to 24, Rapid has covered more then 900 kms many times in a day, Like visiting ghaziabad to bhopal, Ghaziabad to itawa and back, Etc, No major maintenance other then change of oil, Filters and tyres, Two front shock absorber changed, Ac condenser changed, Parts r reasonably cheap at dealer services station, Unfortunately diesel version has stopped other wise i will opt for scoda only.
