    Recently Asked User Questions

    Q. Which one is the best among Celerio X or Santro?
    • The Santro still appears to be a great value for money city runabout that it always was. The space, features and the fit and finish of the interiors really do feel like a step-up from entry level hatches from yesteryear. From our short first drive it promises a smooth four cylinder engine, flexible engine, nice smooth gearboxes and a suspension set-up for city commuting.
    • It would be quite unfair to compare both the cars as of now because the new Santro has not been launched yet. Therefore, we would suggest you to wait till the launch of the car so that you can have a detailed comparison of both the cars and pick up the best one.
    • Hyundai Santro will be a better pick here as it’s a smooth, efficient and easy-to-drive city car. The premium features are just a bonus.

    Q. What is the difference between celerio n celerio x?
    • A Celerio dressed in fancier clothes, the Celerio X is an attempt by Maruti to make the hatchback look tough. The Celerio X gets an exclusive orange paint shade, dollops of cladding and black alloy wheels to differentiate it from the regular one. Inside, you get an all-black theme with white accents and orange highlights for the seats. There's no change in the mechanicals compared to the regular hatchback; the 1.0-litre 68PS/90Nm motor does duty here too in conjunction with a 5-speed manual or AMT. With prices ranging from Rs 4.57 lakh to Rs 5.43 lakh, the X costs approximately Rs 8000 more than the Celerio. If you want something striking to look at, is reliable, isn’t expensive to maintain and fulfills your need of a stand out looking hatch, the CelerioX checks all those boxes. And if you like a florescent colour too, remember, no other car in its segment has that loud orange shade on offer.
    • Maruti CelerioX carries forward the same powertrain options and equipment list as the regular Celerio, it features rugged-looking exterior and interior add-ons. Over regular Celerio, Maruti Celerio X gets exclusive orange and brown shades: Paprika Orange (solid) and Caffeine Brown. It comes with dark themed exterior and interior, Features all-around body cladding and roof rails, courtesy of which there’s a slight increase in dimensions from that of the standard car. At the sides, it rides on the same alloys, but they are now finished in gloss black. The outside rearview mirror and door handle also feature gloss black finish, while the B-pillar is blacked-out. While the Celerio features dual-tone black and beige interior theme, the Celerio X comes with an all-black cabin. The seat upholstery features bright orange highlights.
    • Maruti CelerioX carries forward the same powertrain options and equipment list as the regular Celerio, it features rugged-looking exterior and interior add-ons. Apart from it, there are some changes in their dimensions. Q. Which is better between Celerio and Celerio X
    • The Maruti CelerioX is powered by the same 1.0-litre KB-10 engine as the regular Celerio which produces a maximum of 69PS of power and 90Nm of torque. The Maruti CelerioX is essentially an accessorised version of the regular Celerio hatchback. The cosmetic changes include black plastic cladding around the sides and wheel arches, black alloy wheels and a silver scuff plate at the rear. The redesigned front bumper gets black cladding between the headlamps and the fog lamps too, while the front grille gets a honeycomb pattern. Even the roof rails, exterior door handles and the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are finished in black. If you want something striking to look at, is reliable, isn’t expensive to maintain and fulfills your need of a hatke looking hatch, the CelerioX checks all those boxes. And if you like a florescent colour too, remember, no other car in its segment has that loud orange shade on offer.
    • Little modifications like grills,Roof rails,Front and Rear Bumpers etc thats all... Performance wise there will be not a single change done because both Celerio and CelerioX were built with same K10 engine which already comes in WagonR and Alto K10.....
    • It depends upon your taste. Looks of vehicle and the extra money you pay. Other than that core every thing is the same. Only cosmetic changes.
