The BMW F 450 GS has been spied testing in Europe and the bike receives some major changes when compared to the concept model showcased at the 2024 EICMA show. It gets alloy wheels instead of cross-spokes, a new windscreen, additional accessories, vertically-stacked dual-LED headlight, new switchgear and more.

BMW Motorrad unveiled the F450 GS Concept at Auto Expo 2025. The Concept F 450 GS is a near production-ready model and looks like a scaled-down version of the BMW R1300GS with the beak-like fender, chiselled fuel tank design, peculiar looking headlight design, while the tail section looks really sleek. The ADV is powered by an all-new inline twin-cylinder engine producing 48PS. According to the manufacturer, the concept ADV’s kerb weight is close to the 175kg mark.

The suspension setup in the concept consists of a fully-adjustable inverted fork and a monoshock with preload adjustability while the braking setup consists of a disc brake at both ends. It has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cross-spoke wheels with tubeless block pattern tyres.

The features department consists of a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console with connectivity and cornering ABS. BMW Motorrad is planning to unveil a production version of the concept bike in 2025. So, we expect the ADV to be launched in India sometime in 2026. Its rivals will be the Honda NX500, upcoming CFMoto 450MT and the Aprilia Tuareg 457. Other single-cylinder alternatives include the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and the KTM 390 Adventure.
