Q. Hello i am a college student. My pupose are mostly city duties ,commuting and sometimes long ride. Is the fz25 best for me or it will be ok to be stick with fzs?? After sale service?
  • If you do commuting mostly and also long rides then better go for FZ 25. I'm also a college student and have purchased FZ 25 a couple of months back and my experience with the bike is really great. Coming to the service, it purely depends on which service centre you choose. Enquire about the best service centre in your city and give it there.
  • If you are the one thats looking for a thrill and do more topend riding then go for fz25 as it has more pickup and topspeed and a new design. If you are only looking for mileage then go for fzs. (not so fun to ride as fz v1) Fz 25 also does justice for commuting as it gives you a mileage of 38 kmpl approx (best mileage in 250cc segment).
  • FZ S --- 149 CCFZ s costs around 10500 , mileage 50 to 55 KMPLengine oil change 3000 KMsFZ 25 - 249 CC costs around 150000 , mileage 52 KMPL ( practical mileage after 1st service )engine oil change 5000 KMsgood in maintenance I suggest FZ 25 for for long term use

Q. Is this bike worth to buy? Please help me to know any pros. and cons. about this bike or any other bike in this segment. - FZ 25?
  • Bro. I've owned this bike for around 2 years now. The bike is great and everything. Its good a good and peppy engine. Great milage considering the power it has. Extremely comfortable seats. The main downside i came across was the weak headlight unit. You could very well get an aftermarket LED fitted on it or go for fog lamps. 6th gear is a problem only when the bike is pushed hard. In normal city driving and highway runs you won't need a 6th gear. The service and maintenance cost of the bike is very less as with all Yamaha bikes. Also it is ultra reliable and won't need too many services
  • Hello. The 2019 model gets dual channel Abs.
  • Pros- Good pickup, Nice accelerating, Good for both city and highway driving. mileage in best with 250 cc segment and it's almost low budget bike in 250 cc also. service center available everywhere cons- Air cooled Bike, little problem in engine hitting specially on long drive and on summer season. Old and 1st model don't have ABS that's a badluck. silencer got rusted with more heat power from engine and even after repeated paint by the showroom still its again looks like iron parts. but still overall it's amazing bike

  • Fz 250 best bike provide best feelable torque... So go ahead fr fz 25 ..shift of gear as much as flexible and ride quality of the bike is more stable and the brakes of yamaha are so belivable and now with more confident abs safety braking system
  • I will say fz 25 is a wish choose, it has a comfortable cruiser alingment that help in long ride without back ache, good torque without any heating issue makes it a good companion in city daily rides...

    Good Bike

It offers comfort both in city and on highways, making it a great choice in the 250 cc segment due to its affordability and performance. The mileage is impressive, averaging around 40 on highways and 35 in the city. Its dual-channel ABS enhances braking power significantly, making it safer to ride. The FZ25 is also suitable for long rides. However, its maintenance costs are higher compared to other bikes in its class. One drawback is the lower ground clearance, and it lacks a gear shift indicator. Additionally, it has an oil-cooled engine. I have faced an issue where the engine malfunction indicator lights up after the bike is washed with water.

Yamaha FZ 25: The Balanced Performer

I set my sights on the Yamaha FZ 25. Its promises of balanced performance and affordability had me intrigued. Here is my take after putting it through its paces. The FZ 249cc engine producing 20.8 bhp and 20.1 Nm of torque offers a smooth and enjoyable ride whether in the city or on the highway. Its lightweight (153 kg) design makes it easy to maneuver. The bike design is sleek with an aggressive stance that turns heads. I wished Yamaha had been a bit more generous with the features especially considering the competition in this segment.
