Q. Is this bike worth to buy? Please help me to know any pros. and cons. about this bike or any other bike in this segment. - FZ 25?
  • Bro. I've owned this bike for around 2 years now. The bike is great and everything. Its good a good and peppy engine. Great milage considering the power it has. Extremely comfortable seats. The main downside i came across was the weak headlight unit. You could very well get an aftermarket LED fitted on it or go for fog lamps. 6th gear is a problem only when the bike is pushed hard. In normal city driving and highway runs you won't need a 6th gear. The service and maintenance cost of the bike is very less as with all Yamaha bikes. Also it is ultra reliable and won't need too many services
  • Hello. The 2019 model gets dual channel Abs.
  • Pros- Good pickup, Nice accelerating, Good for both city and highway driving. mileage in best with 250 cc segment and it's almost low budget bike in 250 cc also. service center available everywhere cons- Air cooled Bike, little problem in engine hitting specially on long drive and on summer season. Old and 1st model don't have ABS that's a badluck. silencer got rusted with more heat power from engine and even after repeated paint by the showroom still its again looks like iron parts. but still overall it's amazing bike

Q. I am 164 cm tall, I want a bike which is best for city ride and also for often long rides. My budget is almost 1. 5L. Which bike suits me for long term use Apache RTR 200 4V racing, FZ25 or any other?
  • Fz 250 best bike provide best feelable torque... So go ahead fr fz 25 ..shift of gear as much as flexible and ride quality of the bike is more stable and the brakes of yamaha are so belivable and now with more confident abs safety braking system
  • I will say fz 25 is a wish choose, it has a comfortable cruiser alingment that help in long ride without back ache, good torque without any heating issue makes it a good companion in city daily rides...
  • Go with Fz25 it beat for city riding as well as highway cruising

Q. Which one is best in Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha FZ 25?
  • If you compare the price, I do not feel Gixxer to be better than FZ 25. If any day I would be looking for a bike of Gixxers price I would go for a Dominar 400 or a KTM 250 DUKE(slightly higher price than Gixxer) or a Himalayan. Gixxer should have been priced to compete with FZ 25. We need to compare between bikes of same rates. Gixxer doesn't offer so much more than FZ 25 to be priced so high according to me. Rest it depends on the buyer
  • I have Yamaha FZ25, i like it for its stability braking efficiency and speed. It 2017 model. Now the upgraded model with ABS and improved head lamp is available. I like Yamaha FZ 25. I connot write about Gixxer as i have not driven it.
  • Yamaha FZ 25 is definitely superior bike . Blue core engine is an added feather in the cap. Yamaha has more service centers compared to Suzuki. Provided it is low maintenance bike...

  • I am really satisfied with these bike all I want is few upgrades in these bike for example USD Suspension, Mono Sock, wide Swing Arm, Rare tyre atleast 130, and at last 6th gear may be not for direct selling but a choice for upgrades which will make a bike looks more muscular and safe for top speed ridder since 180 has no upgrade since 2012 in looks. So There fore I hope and pray that TVS will be kind enought to note down my demands Thank You Lots of love From Kanu Kalai From Tripura

  • Very light and full control in riding. Instant pick up make it more reliable. If someone use it single hand then you never loss its feel alike JUST NEWI am using it since Oct 2015. From my point of view, a customer who buy it I suggest you that when you buy it you ride it full speed and long run with two persons in order to make it more efficient for future (please ensure traffic rule and own safety). And light service every two months on 1000kmWith regards Vijay Kumar Nain

  • 121 km /h is top speed i gained but i am sure that 135/hour can gain for suitable road.Safest bike i ever experienced.Stability & less vibration are the main attraction.Cornering is really heartfelt & also assure co driver comfort.Pls do service between regular intervals & use lub only for chain sprocket.Dont allow to wet.Keep neet & clean always.Karma returns.

  • I was thinking to buy this because this bike has dual-channel abs and this bike has a very good fuel capacity and good average also. The bike looks very stylish and what a biker wants is all there in this bike.Mainly this bike has a comfortable seat. The headlights of this bike are really good. But timely maintenance of the bike is always required.

  • Look my way of riding may not be a biker type. I generally ride pretty safe and till now my highest speed is 98kmph for 3 secs. But for my daily commute I found this bike pretty useful. Though after 5 years I am having an issue with my brakes. Loosing confidence on them.

  • This bike is a value for money. I have completed 3 trips with my fz25 (Spiti, Bhutan , Sikim Gurdongmar lake) also use it for daily commute (approx 80 km a day) abd I had never faced any problem with my bike. Handling is excellent, mileage is superb (42kmpl) low on maintenance. On the lower side headlights dull in pitch dark. Headlamp should be more powerful,

  • Has a very good torque. In city it's very nimble and for weekend getaways it is good as well. To use in ghat sections its very involving to ride. Softer front suspension and brakes could have been little better. But in the latest ABS version brakes are better.

  • Iam very much comfort with Fz 25. Had taken long rides more than 600 km . enjoyed a lot with that ride, even though I'm having back pain and undergone treatment for same. I didn't faced any issues during my ride.
