Rc 390 is little bit faster than gt 650.But gt 650 has more comfort than rc 390 and the exhaust soud is very good in gt 650.the engine in both bike is become very hot after driving . - It's too good bike for touring or for occasional riding and for us mileage is good for 500cc 32kmpl and in dis the great thing is royal Enfield suit power exhaust only not only silent vibration
- Several sites will provide you comparison charts of one against the other. both have SAME engine. BUT ,TBX has 1. tubeless tyres.2. alloy wheels3. ABS4. straightened handle bar 5. fresh look with the two tone colours ( if you are a chrome lover then tb is your pick) as TBX exhaust has no chrome. it's black. choice is yours. Happy riding.
- If u r ready for a good maintainace cost go for it Only riding a 500cc bike in city wont be a good choice the mileage comes down to 22kmpl. Choose wisely

Feel great to ride thunderbird 500, Best cruise bike, You can ride whole day comfortably.The mileage is decent you can expect 30 plus on highways and the service cost is less than 3k.

Driving this 500cc bike was fun.Engine performance was great with mileage of 30kmpl.Seat was not comfortable for long rides.Maintenance of enfield bikes are high.Specially the fuel pump will stop working after 5-7 years.Replacement from re service centre also does not guarantee a long running fuel pump.Rust on body parts is a major issue in re.Overall good to ride but high on maintenance.

Over all its strong and reliable bike, Only most important thing you have to care services on time and engine oil.I love my bike.I am using from since 2013 and it's still very best pickup, Engine and best thing is this you can drive hundreds of kilometres without any hustle.
