    Q. Which is better for long rides KTM Adventure 390, Royal Enfield Interceptor or Royal Enfield Himalayan - Duke 250?
    • Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is a good bike with a smooth and torquey engine, however, the ergonomics limit the long-tour usage of the bike. Royal Enfield Himalayan, on the other hand, features a long-travel suspension setup, upright riding position, and is a comfortable adventure touring motorcycle from the manufacturer. Powering the Himalayan is a 411cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC, fuel injected engine, which churns a maximum power of 24.83PS and a maximum torque of 32.00Nm coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. If we talk about KTM 390 Adventure, it is actually a tourer, with rough-road capability, which should be enough for most people. Its spacious and comfortable ergonomics, its ability to tackle all kinds of roads and cover distances with ease will win it a lot of admiration and desirability. Aside from the tall seat height it should prove to be a great companion for city use too. So, if you are looking for a comfortable bike and on a budget, you may go for Royal Enfield Himalayan. Otherwise, KTM 390 Adventure would be a more capable bike. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test ride of the bike in order to get acquainted with the performance and compatibility. Q. Which one is better for daily use and even tour purposes with good posture and engaging ride and even a bit of speedster within a budget of 3 lakhs - Interceptor 650?
    • Since you already mentioned interceptor 650, are you looking at anything else? If yes your best bet would be a dominar 400, it's got really good vfm .also cheaper than the 650 and easy on maintenance.
    • You can go for Dominar as well if your usage is mostly commute and occasionally tour

    Q. I am planning to buy a bike on which a lady can sit one sided. My budget is 3 lacs. Currently I am riding Dominar. Please suggest. - Interceptor 650?
    • No not at all advisable. The foot pegs/Rest are elevated .The engine power , Braking will imbalance the pillion rider and affect the rider. Every time we should caution the pillion rider about the dual exhausts before he sits.We should be very careful with the silencer/Exhausts because in seconds it will burn our foot , Knuckle & calf . Moreover INT 650 is not comfortable for pillion rider. If so then pillion rider should wear full boots .
    • I would suggest not carry a lady pillion rider on an Interceptor. As the footpegs are placed quite high and one can't comfortably place both feet on one peg.Hope this helps!
    • Not suggestable for one sided pillion sitting because of upswept exhaust
