Recently Asked User Questions
- Main thing to consider is why are you buying a bike ? If you are planning for long rides and few track's you can go for duke 39O . It's a bit harsh on city riding but when ever you tap gear up it's a whole new level of fun . If you are person you wants a strong mid range power in long rides you can go for RE.incptr . If you are buying mainly for city commute then go for RE. Duke si a monster city bumber to bumper traffic naah it's bit hard for it . For 390 you have to unleash it on highways ;-)
- Depends on your requirements. The Interceptor is a nice cruiser with plenty of power to play with. It's also extremely refined which is unlike any other RE. Although, I'd suggest you get the optional accessory seat installed which has better cushioning. Go for the Duke if you love getting your knee down. It's razor sharp handling and power from the motor will keep you on your toes, always.
- Duke has all compact package with Quick shifter in BS6 and powered vehicle but this both r so crazy if you need to upgrade to high CC you can go to Interceptor 650 and even I want to this both has good capacity of touring vehicle. But my suggestion is if you r a beginner like after 200cc you go for 390 as well you can go a 650 but I suggest you Duke 390 is best...
- Hands down Duke 390.Interceptor is 650cc and you are barely able to let loose the throttle to understand the bike completely. RE doesn't have initial pick up but once it hits the mid range then it really goes like a bullet, but only when you are on a highway. For city and highway D390 is the perfect bike.
- This is an apple and orange comparison.First decide what kind of a rider are you ?Are you someone who loves to cruise on the highway feeling the cool breeze, ride into the sunset ?Or do you just love to redline the engine like a maniac and scrape those knee pads demolishing some corners ?
- I think if you need performance faster bike then go for Duke 390 its most powerfull bike in 400cc bike segment. But if you are a tourer then go for Enfield i think this is best bike for touring. But the duke 390 is also okay for the traveler.
- I own both the Himalayan and the Interceptor and I can definitely say with authority that with the himalayan you wont have a back pain. Ride is more comfortable due to the seating posture and the seat itself. Same goes for the pillion rider as well. What you will get is a solid freaking headache considering the Himalayan has so many other issues that you get fed up spending most of your time in RE service centers. I own a BS3 model. So I hope the later models have these issues sorted. Interceptor on the hand was built for a different purpose and tall riders (5 foot 9 and above) will have problems with their back. This is because of the seating posture. But there are work arounds to this. its a great bike and is open to customization unlike the Himalayan.
- I have slipped disc and tail bone/sciatic pains .. you know how bad it can get. But I can tell you, on a normal day the Interceptor has never caused any issues or never till date have I had any issues because of the seating position on the Interceptor. I can't speak for Himalayan, I am sure it's meant for touring and expect that to be equally comfortable or more. With Interceptor, you cant go wrong that much I could tell trust me.
- The Interceptor 650 will marginally have a better seating posture than the Himalayan and hence should give less back pain. But eventually it depends on whether you will utilise the motorcycle for city rides for which Interceptor is best or for off roading for which Himalayan is best.Hope this helps! Happy riding!

First of all let me start with how smooth the bs6 390 engine is. It's super smooth compared to bs4 and an absolute heaven when compared to bs3. The underbelly exhaust took care of the heating problem pretty well. It's only your left foot that will get somewhat toasty that too in heavy traffic and your not moving. And with quickshifter I believe there's a common problem with the throttle regulator, to be frank it doesn't work that good🤦. Mileage shouldn't be your criteria if you are planning for 390, for me it gives about 26 to 28 on highway and 22ish in the city. The new colour scheme is a killer grey and black and white is good too.

Ktm duke 390 is the best bike in the given amount. As its good for city commutes, Its good for touring, Its good when the performance is demanded, And when it comes to looks it still the best. And the safety feature and technology used is so advanced for the price band they are offered in.So its the best bike in 3 lakh rupees.

Everything feels good when you know how to handle and maintain your bike. Ktm has given a very good structure and ergonomics to the bike and the ride quality is really great!!!Can be stated as a great mid range naked sport bike

I booked intercepter 650 colour is Baker Express and as per dealer they will be able to deliver the bike in Jan 2020 end. whatever information I have gather through YouTube videos ... it's looks with minor change which need to be done after delivery.I am looking for better headlight reason being headlight isn't matching what rest of the bike is offering and I believe Thunderbird headlight would have been awesome additions and seat which is not great as per the bike standards.. so looking for seat changes with better qauilty for sure.

Very Good Bike , The money you pay for the vehicle has value. Ride, Breaking are exceptionaly good. What I don't like is the head light which is not powerful and it should be modified. Also tail lamp they should change it to LED. Royal Enfield should come out with mag wheels for this bike.

Best one from RE . The engine is well refined and maintenance level is very less. More than enough for my needs . Its an all rounder and is easy to maintain.
