Q. Z900 or TNT 600?
  • While we still await the BS6 Benelli TNT 600i, Kawasaki has already launched the Z900 BS6 in India. It would be unfair to give a verdict here as the TNT 600 is yet to make its debut. Moreover, if you are looking for powerful naked-sports bike with a refined engine and brilliant electronic goodies then you may go for the Z900. n terms of updates, the styling of the 2020 Kawasaki Z900 is similar to the older bike, but the new bike features an LED headlight. Also, it has been equipped with a new TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity. The new Kawasaki Z900 also gets electronics such as four riding modes, three-level traction control system and two power modes. The BS6 Z900, despite meeting BS6 emission norms, manages to make the same 125PS and 98.5Nm via its 948cc, inline-four cylinder engine. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission aided by a slip and assist clutch. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. Read More: - Here's A Closer Look At the New India-Spec Kawasaki Z900 BS6 - EXCLUSIVE: Eight New Benellis Incoming This Year!
Q. Which bike has the best braking system, Street Triple R, or Ninja Z900?
  • Triumph has not kitted the Triple R with the same braking setup as the RS. So, no Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, Brembo MCS levers and radial master cylinder. You get the entry-level (in the performance-motorcycling world) M4.32 monoblocs and a conventional brake master cylinder. It does shed speed rather quickly, with little to no ABS intervention when going hard on the front brake lever. At the rear, the ABS does kick in subtly. But if you have ridden the RS, the system on the R leaves you longing for a bit more sharpness. One particularly annoying thing about the brakes is the squeaky noise that is generated when braking from around 40-50kmph On the other hand, The new bike comes with four rider modes: Rain, Road, Sport, and Manual. This should help offer riders the confidence to push the bike a bit more than they normally would without electronics. Plus, there are two power modes too. What’s impressive is the fact that despite meeting the new emission norms, there has been no drop in power. The 948cc, in-line-four engine produces 125PS at 9500rpm and 98.6Nm at 7700rpm Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Q. What is the difference between Kawasaki Z900 Or Triumph Street Triple ?
  • Triumph Street Triple is powered by a 765cc in-line 3-cylinder engine which makes 123PS of power and 79Nm of peak torque, however, the R variant variant gets a re-tuned version that puts out 118PS at 12000rpm and 77Nm at 9400rpm mated to a 6-speed transmission aided by a slipper clutch. The bike is priced in the range of Rs. 8.84 - 11.33 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the other hand, Kawasaki Z900 gets a 948cc, inline-four cylinder engine that manages to make the same 125PS and 98.5Nm as the previous BS4 unit. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission aided by a slip and assist clutch. The Z900 is priced at Rs. 7.69 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Formidable addition

This is a formidable addition to the world of naked sports bike's.For me it's a thrilling yet practical riding experience. The in-line 4 is just so op.Coming to it's pros - you get in line 4 in just 10-12 lakhs with immense power compare to other naked bikes. You get the aggressive looking naked sport's look.Mileage is okay.Advance electronics.Agile handling.Comings to it's cons-limited wind protection, Minimal storage, Stiff ride, Intense throttle response.Overall the bike is good for everything.

    Empty highways

This bike is scary if you are jumping to this directly from a sub 300cc bike. But once you get a hang of it, it's so much fun. In city limits, it can ride easy in any gear, and on highways, that's where the fun begins. There is a difference in power once you reach higher RPMs and that's when you would enjoy it even more. It's has an easy almost upright riding position, only slighly agressive. Seat height is a bit taller now, and the ground clearance is improved as well. Exhaust has a beautiful grunt to it which you can hear while riding as well. TFT has very clear display and is visible during day as well. I like the road rider mode, which has full power and bit of traction control as well. Sports mode makes the throttle very s****h which is only good if you want to ride agressively, i.e. switch gear and accelerate non stop, which is not possible in city, but definitely good on empty highways, or tracks. All in all, it's an awesome update for the z900
