    Q. Which is better Honda SP125 BS6 and Honda Shine BS6?
    • Both the bikes use the same 125cc engine platform but have a different state of tune. While the SP 125 is tuned for more power, the Shine BS6 offers better torque. The SP 125 has a sporty looking bodywork while the Shine BS6 has a more conservative yet premium commuter-ish design. In comparison to SP 125 the Shine BS6 is both longer and taller. The Shine BS6 also offers a slightly taller ground clearance and is 3kg lighter than the SP 125. Both offer near-identical seat height but the SP 125 has a 55mm longer seat. It also has a larger fuel tank. Compared to the Shine BS6, the SP 125 comes feature-packed. It gets an LED headlamp and a fully digital instrument console which includes a gear position indicator and clock. The SP 125 also gets stylish split alloy wheels. An update on the Shine BS6 is the new DC powered halogen headlamp which should provide a brighter beam spread. It still gets an analog instrument console but with refreshed graphics. Both motorcycles get an ACG starter which offers silent start operations. So if you want sporty, the SP 125 is the one to go for. For a premium commuter experience, go for the Shine BS6. Q. Which bike has the best mileage graphics, maintenance and features SP125 or glamour 125 or pulsar 125?
    • All these bikes are easy for the pocket to maintain. The Pulsar 125 Neon gives enthusiasts a taste of the Pulsar’s sporty DNA but in a less intimidating and more affordable package. However, its lower-than-its-class fuel-efficiency may not appeal to the more conservative 125cc buyers, from that aspect, the Glamour and CB Shine SP are still better bets. If we talk about Glamour, Hero has done well to keep the Glamour BS6’s pricing in check during the BS4 to BS6 transition given the fact that the BS4 Glamour already had Fi. With the new pricing, the Hero is still one of the expensive 125cc motorcycles out there but it undercuts the Honda SP 125 by around Rs 5,000. However, in the company of the similarly priced but more powerful Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Glamour BS6 feels dated and less desirable. The SP 125 is the most Honda-like product from the Japanese brand in recent years. It’s refined and frugal, packs a punch, and offers a good list of features, making it a well-rounded product. At its price, you are getting a more fuel-efficient, powerful and feature-rich product. So, if you’re planning to buy a premium 125cc commuter, you definitely can't give the SP 125 a miss. You may compare all these bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts. Check out authorised dealership details.

    • If we talk about Bajaj Discover 125, it has been discontinued and no longer available in new bike market in India. So, you may go for Honda SP 125. It is among the best motorcycles launched by Honda in the recent past. It’s refined, fun to ride, frugal and offers a good list of features. Do take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts.
