Q. I am pretty confused between Hondia Dio and Tvs Jupiter Classic . Both me and my Gf are roughly 6 feet, which one should I go for my only two priorities are mileage and comfort.
  • Ideally you should plan to have 03 vehicles within the next 04 years max.- one each for yourself and one as a spare vehicle for emergency purpose( incase one vehicle goes for service, etc )The first vehicle should be one which both of you can drive and travel together in max.times and this one should be a Vespa 150 cc, any variant of your choice. Also both you and your GF are not going to travel everyday together- back and forth, so having only one scooter will not be right, I feel. For yourself, for 02 persons seating both for long and short distance, with your kind of needs, the best scooter would be Vespa Elegant 150 or any Vespa 150 Top Variant. For your GF, for short distance riding Honda Dio would be better.(below 20 KM's per day)If your GF likes to drive and needs to travel distance more than 25 KM's per day, the ideal scooter would be Vespa. If your GF wants to have fun, achieve speed and make a statement, and you want to gift her, then go for the Aprillia Race 150.(Running cost would be high here) But it is really worth the style unlike driving Honda or Dio.For a spare scooter, you can have a Honda Dio or Suzuki Access 125, since maint.costs are low, vehicle would be used sparingly. However for you both driving this scooter, the comfort level and ease of driving factor will be very low as compared to any Vespa model. In short, if you want to enjoy the every day driving, whether single or double seat, go for the Vespa.(Any model)If you just want a scooter, to reach your office, then go for Dio.
  • Jupiter is extremely comfortable and has tons of features. Get that, do test ride both the vehicles before deciding, though comfort and mileage does mean jupiter is better.
  • For overall comfort u have to go for Honda Dio but for milage statement u can go for Jupiter also...

Q. Which is better among Dio and Jupiter
  • Both the vehicles are best in terms of present day scenario but, if you wish for comfort in driving and a much lighter vehicle to handle with a better performance, you can go for Dio. But if your priority is absolutely mileage then go for Jupiter as it has better fuel efficiency than Dio. Other criteria are almost the same for both the vehicles.
  • Honda dio is for the young generation whereas jupiter is a family scooter and both are very good performance wise. i have both the scooters the dio as well as the jupiter so the choice is yours if you want a family scooter then you should go for jupiter and if you want sharp and attractive looks and a chunky engine then you go for dio
  • Dio is 110cc and total fiber body it wighs under 110kilos.so it gives about 45to50klicks/litre Jupiter is another segment.

    Trouble Free Way Around.

The TVS Jupiter proves itself by its competitive on road price and its great fuel economy, which as a result reduce commuting costs. Both the ride quality and the car's looks, with their impressive appearance, would lure the glances of others. Space is provided for comfort by making seats roomier and the operation of the engine smoother. The abundant free storage would be an asset for the urban beings. Different colors are for people with different tastes. Features like disc brakes as well as LED lighting no doubt contribute to feel safer.

    Jupiter reliability

I have used the TVS Jupiter scooter for a while. It has been a dependable vehicle. The TVS Jupiter is one of the most affordable scooters in its class. This is a big advantage. The ride feels smooth. The fuel efficiency of this scooter is impressive. However, the build quality could be better. Some parts do not seem very sturdy. The storage space under the seat is small. Despite these minor issues, the TVS Jupiter is a good choice. It is a budget-friendly and fuel-efficient scooter.

A Faithful Companion: My Time with the TVS Jupiter

The Jupiter has been a main in the Indian scooter market and after owning it for a year, it is easy to see why. Its engine, a 110 cc unit that produces 8 bhp has never let me down providing a blend of power and fuel efficiency that is hard to beat. The scooter's ride quality is exceptional, thanks to its well tuned suspension and comfortable seating. The under seat storage struggles to accommodate a full sized helmet. Also, the lack of a USB charging port in the standard model is a miss, considering the needs of today's smartphone generation.
