Q. Which one is best, Shine SP or Hero Glamour?
  • Hero Glamour is 100cc bike which would give you more mileage with Mac Speed upto 90kmph. Where as you can throttle shine SP upto 110kmph beyond that it would be shaky. In terms of looks Glamour is my and speed is not so good, suitable for city or metro traffic but no pickup. You cannot drive on 2nd gear in city traffic on glamour.
  • I will suggest you to go for Pulsar 150 classic....I have shine sp and I know that Pulsar 150 is far more better than shine sp....and the price tags are same. The milages are also same....go to Bajaj showroom and take a test ride of Pulsar and you will surprise....
  • Honda Shine SP is one of the best looking 125cc bikes out there. The bike handles well, and the motor is refined and spunky. Overall, the Shine SP boasts good levels of fit and finish, and given Honda's penchant for making reliable bikes, is almost a no-brainer.

Q. How is Honda shine sp? Can I buy this?
  • The Honda Shine SP is one of the best looking 125cc bikes out there. The bike handles well, and the motor is refined and spunky. Overall, the Shine SP boasts good levels of fit and finish, and given Honda's penchant for making reliable bikes, is almost a no-brainer. The 124.7cc air-cooled and carburetted single makes 10.3PS at 7500rpm and 10.3Nm at 5500rpm. The engine gets Honda Eco Technology and, coupled with a more efficient 5-speed gearbox and low rolling resistance tyres. It returned an impressive mileage of 75km/l in our test.
  • Overall i see shine as good in this price range . It gives a good mileage of 50+ . But i suggest you that if you can increase your budget by 10k then go for "cb unicorn" because it even gives a good meleage and has more power .
  • If u want to purchase u can purchase . It's good for triple load , good milage , everything is fine in it.... according to me its super. Dear when you will purchase please tell cost of bike which u will purchase

Q. As a first bike, which bike should be purchased among Bajaj Pulsar 150, Honda CB Shine SP and Hero Glamour 125 FI.
  • I am using Pulsar 150 for last 10 years. I don't find it worth purchasing. If you love fast speed & high pick up then only purchase Pulsar, otherwise don't go for it. Its maintenance is highest among all bikes, it's parts are also costly. Mileage is not good maximum 35KMPL only. Ever two years it requires engine work which costs you around Rs. 15000. In 6 years time the amount you will spend on Pulsar you can Purchase a new bike on that amount. I have spent more than Rs. 60000 on Pulsar in 10 years time. I really regret why I purchased Pulsar. Go for any bike either of Hero or Honda. Their bikes are less costlier in terms of maintenance. Rest you know what are you looking for in a bike. If you are looking for mileage then go for Hero or Honda. For pick up & high speed, go for Pulsar & TVS Apache, also can consider Yamaha.
  • Bajaj pulsar is offering so much models now according to the requirements from the classic varient to dual disc. It offers brilliant performance, mileage along with extreme refinement. Some features such as backlit switches, engine kill switch are still miss on the bikes that are more expensive then pulsar. and why to pay your hard earned money on 125 cc bikes when you can get a 150 cc bike at same price. Past already proves the rich heritage of pulsar. Pulsar would be better choice among glamour and shine sp.
  • Looks - Pulsar, hands down. Mileage - Hero would be the best bet. All three bikes should last more than a decade although engine refinement would be typically better in Honda (and Hero, remember the old Hero Honda connection).Glamour and Shine are strictly commuters. They are good if the only need is to travel short distances inside the city. However, Pulsar gives you the freedom to go beyond the cities comfortably and do longer highway trips comfortably.
