  • The new 125cc motorcycle retails between Rs 60710 and Rs 65161 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi and post-GST). The CB Shine SP is powered by the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that was during duty on the previous model as well. However, the motor has been updated to meet the stringent BS-IV emission standards. There is not any change in the performance of the mill and it continues to deliver 10.3PS of power and a peak torque of 10.3Nm in the new model as well. The 5-speed gearbox of the bike also remains untouched and comes mated to the engine via a wet multi-plate type clutch assembly. Along with the previous features like the digital-analog instrument cluster, stylish alloy wheels and CBS (Combi Brake System). The first one is Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) that has been added as a safety feature. While the other one is low rolling resistance tires from MRF, which will help in reducing energy loss via rolling resistance, providing slightly improved fuel efficiency Whereas Honda has replaced the CB Twister with its new model, the Livo. It has a more mature design and the HET engine ensures an excellent mileage of 74kmpl. In terms of performance, the Livo delivers 8.2 bhp of power and 8.6 Nm of torque. The Honda Livo has been positioned as a premium commuter while the Honda Dream series is marketed as affordable commuter motorcycles. Q. Which one is best, Shine SP or Hero Glamour?
  • Hero Glamour is 100cc bike which would give you more mileage with Mac Speed upto 90kmph. Where as you can throttle shine SP upto 110kmph beyond that it would be shaky. In terms of looks Glamour is my and speed is not so good, suitable for city or metro traffic but no pickup. You cannot drive on 2nd gear in city traffic on glamour.
  • I will suggest you to go for Pulsar 150 classic....I have shine sp and I know that Pulsar 150 is far more better than shine sp....and the price tags are same. The milages are also same....go to Bajaj showroom and take a test ride of Pulsar and you will surprise....
