Q. Which bike is suitable for daily commute ride in Bangalore traffic of 60km daily among Honda Hornet ABS DLX, Hero Xtreme 200, Bajaj Avenger or any other
  • It's all on your comfort and operating cost
  • Hero xtreme 200R is the best one it has double disk break with ABS AND easy maintenance vehicle with low cost
  • Xtreme 200R
Q. Honda CB hornet 160R or Xtreme 200R, which one is better?
  • Xtreme 200R comes with dual channel ABS and has a upper hand in terms of wer performance. While CB Hornet 160R has more refined engine and better handling dynamics. In terms of competition, the Hero Xtreme 200R has a tough battle on its hands. Particularly owing to the features, power and styling on offer, which makes the competition a lot more value for money. During our first ride it came across as a more commuter focused 200cc bike, which is easy going. On the other hand, in the form of the CB Hornet 160R, Honda now has a competitive offering in the premium 160cc motorcycle segment. It looks the part with its sporty styling and chiselled lines. Performance of the motorcycle is also admirable with respect to its rivals and it offers decent fuel efficiency as well. It seems that Honda have got it right the third time around. We would suggest you to take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts. Click on the given link to get your nearest dealership details: https://www.zigwheels.com/bikes/dealers

Q. Which is good to buy between Apache 160 4v and Hornet 160R?
  • Hey Vishal...To answer your question, its obvious to get confused with variety of bikes available in Indian market. As per choices you mentioned in your question, on first spot I will mention Hornet 160R and Apache 160 4V and on second spot its Yamaha. Lets first talk about Apache 160 4V. Completely raw power, good performance, good torque and power combination, good aggressive styling, everything is good but I still trust on Honda engines for reliability. Even when it comes to after sales network part then Honda is all over this country and that is the only advantage Honda is having. About Yamaha, in this 150-160 cc segment..it is something really falling behind. Less power compare to other two machines from your choice list. So I would say, If you need reliability with decent performance and wide service network go with Hornet or if you need some power packed action without thinking its resale value go for Apache 160

On the other hand, if a bike has to survive in the cut-throat 160cc two-wheeler segment, it needs to be competitively priced and pack enough performance to keep riders happy. Thankfully, the Apache RTR 160 4V delivers well on both fronts with class leading features at its price. However, it doesn’t feel as confident under hard braking as the Honda Hornet. That said, the Apache RTR 160 4V is not only the most refined RTR we have ridden till date but also one of the most refined 160cc motorcycles to be ever produced in India.
