Q. Sir I want to purchase New bike. I want more power, pickup, mileage and low maintenance. which bike will you suggest me?
  • Go for start city plus electric model 2020 if you haven't bought it yet. Good type(dura grip) grip even in rainy season. Led head light available 2020 model. Pick up is good in this price segment and worst mileage it can give is 60kmpl(I prefer riding above 70km/hr, at time even even touch 98kmph ie the top speed), best it can give upto 74kmpl also if you ride around 50km/hr, service change is mechanic change 250-450 + oil change 250-350. In a year or 2 may change break pad. This is with 3years of regular use experience of 60km/day or even more. I give 3-4service a year as my running is too much & with it reaching office it a hard job.Or can go for unicorn, but mileage will fall by 10directly and first time buying cost will increase by 10k. Yet is all good in that as well. Some plus is little more smooth above 80kmph,and less vibration.plus disk break is available.
  • What type of bike ??commuter or sports ?? In a balanced manner you can buy shine sp, hero glamour bs6 , honda unicorn 160, Yamaha fz v3, pulsar bs6 150 ,pulsar ns 160 there are many options , go take a test ride of bikes according to your budget and then decide urself .others can suggest but you have to take the decession . in 100 cc bikes , splendor plus, starcity plus , platina 110 h gear, radeon ,star sport , hero i smart ,bajaj ct 100 are limited options . check carefully, then decide.
  • The combination that you mentioned here i.e.power, pick up millage and low maintenance did not match , therefore your question not stand here. If you want more power and pick up than forgot about millage and low maintenance.

  • TVS Star City Plus
  • it's a great bike for the chennai traffic. even if is a sports bike commutes next to me we both cross over the signals simultaneously. other bikes they spend excess money to travel the same distance but the only high expenditure for my bike is petrol cost and nothing else.
