Q. If we have to choose between Pulsar 220F and KTM Duke 200 which should we choose?
  • If your budget is up to 1.30 L then pulsar 220F and If your budget is up to 1.70 L then KTM Duke 200 If your from middle class family then go for pulsar 220f , Duke price is high, maintenance high, mileage gives less than pulsar. If you are planning to have KTM for enjoyment then go for it and when u feel it's loosing my pocket money then sale it back and buy pulsar 220F . This advice is only for students. If you are well educated, employee... Then go for KTM. No doubt if you have money then go for KTM 390 Duke also.
  • Pulsar 220F Reason is I have exchanged my pulsar 220F with my friends KTM Duke 200 for few days and I feel the power and torque is more in KTM and yet safety factor is little less compared to 220F
  • If u need both power n mileage go for 220f...If u dun care abt mileage u btr go for duke 200

Q. Sir, which bike is best in pulsar 220 f and yamaha r15 v3?
  • I think u go for pulsar 220 f.because as maintenance wise it will cost u low. not very aggressive position . u r wrist will not get pain after long drive.even if u have girlfriend on u r rear.even if she stick with u r back when u riding u will not feel weight. 😄. So go for pulsar 200f
  • Its depend on your choice. i like pulsur 220f. But now it costs around 1.3lkh and R15 v3 costs around 1.4lkh. 220f is a beast. R15v3 is also a good bike. Some extra spec in R15 v3. speedometer design , build design , ABS , and mileage 40km/l. your choice to choose your best bike.
  • @Shaik_khadar, it is really hard to pinpoint that which bike is more reliable to ride. Few points we differ here : - P200F is coming up with BS4 engine but still has the same build quality where you would get a fresh generation-build in R15v3 - R15v3 has a very aggressive riding style where P220F has family build - Gear shifting difference between both of them - and yes, definitely mileage difference you can see I hope below link would help you to clear your confusion - https://www.zigwheels.com/bike-comparison/bajaj-pulsar-220f-vs-yamaha-yzf-r15-v3

Q. What is difference between ABS and STD?
  • Anti lock braking system or ABS was been there since a very long time back but not so popular in India mainly because of the price, but was a very useful safety features. In ABS, when the brake was suddenly pressed, the wheel will not lock up and your tyres will not skid. This is very useful during rain or on muddy surfaces where traction are low.The sensor present on the wheel itself detect any sudden changes in wheel speed or if the wheel is going to lose traction. It will help you by engaging and disengaging brakes automatically so you can stop safely without skidding. In non abs, braking was more risky at high speeds and stopping distance is much longer then an abs version. The only difference in a pulsar220 is that in an ABS version there will be ABS sensor at the front disc and real wheel lift protection was there which is much safer. It is a single channel abs because of price concern but is more then enough.
  • Abs is very important for your safety. So i prefer abs version.. STD means standard braking ABS means automatic braking; prevents braking locking up wheel if hard braking. Abs is anti lock breaking system.
  • ABS is ANTILOCK BREAKING SYSTEMSTD IS I don't know it's long form.but if u apply rear break u r front wheel also come slow down. this system is comes with below 125cc bike's.
