Q. I want to buy bike 150cc to 160cc which one should i go with Suzuki Gixxer SF or Yamaha MT15 or Yamaha FZ or recent Hero Xtreme 160 R or Honda X-Blade or TVS Apachi 160 or Bajaj Pulsar. Also assist me with which one doesn't have gear indicator?
  • Vinod Here MT15 is pure performance oriented bike you can't compare with other. and among 150-160 according to my experience and opinion Apache 160 will be my first choice over NS200 which comes as second coz of the stock tyres they offer. Third will be the new contentender with more intent is Hero Xtreme I was impressed with it's wonderful handling and performance but I don't like it's styling ( but if you like its styling you can go for it blindfolded) and the next will be Gixxer SF 155 especially for its riding comfort and styling which also gives good mileage among the first two.And finally To be frank I don't think change in the tank design front head lamps will help you to long last in this 150-160cc segment which both Honda and Yamaha is doing by their Blade/Hornet/trigger/Dazzler and FZ FZ FZ
  • Yo can go with MT-15 / Gixxer sf. & There is no gear indicator in fz.
  • Just go and test ride to find your companion
Q. Which bike offers better pillion comfort between Yamaha R15 V3, Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 and Yamaha FZ-S V3.0. My dream is to own a sports bike but with good pillion comfort.
  • Honestly they both have a high pillion seat, which will make it difficult for the pillion, because these bikes are made in such designs that it will provide more comfort to the rider.... but if you are comparing both bikes, gixxer will provide more comfort for the pillion than R15
  • Yamaha is totally sports bike for single that have pillion seat is not more comfortable Ab aap har waqt to friends ko baithayege nahi kabhi ghar wale Bhi pillion seat pe baithe ge si that condition for all types comforts Gixxer is better options
  • Fz.s v3. If you need sports bike you can choose Gixxer sf for better pillion comfort

    Waiting for this beast

One can experience joyful rides with the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS 400. That bike boasts a 373cc engine that yields power and torque, its suspension is responsible for a smooth ride. One feature of Pulsar NS 400 is a digital instrument cluster, LED headlight, along with a stylish design. Expecting that it handles well which makes it versatile for urban riding and longer trips. Though, it's expected low fuel efficiency could be a constraint for some riders. But overall, NS 400 is a top bike one can prefer for performance, speed and comfort.

    Good Bike

This bike is budget-friendly with low maintenance costs. It boasts impressive mileage, offering around 50kmpl in local areas and over 55kmpl on highways. I recommend it especially for shorter riders. Additionally, its reliable braking system and easy handling make it a top choice.

    Great Bike

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is a solid choice in its price range, boasting a beautiful design and sharp aesthetics. While it offers good power, it may not be the top performer in the 155cc segment, but it's the only option available at this price point. I've owned this bike for the past 7 months and appreciate its Bluetooth connectivity and navigation features, which are quite handy. The fuel economy is satisfactory, averaging around 38-44 kmpl. However, despite its power, it feels slightly underwhelming compared to others in the 155cc category. Despite its superbike looks, the power delivery leaves something to be desired. Additionally, the after-sales service experience has been subpar.

    I have purchased Suzuki SF

I have purchased suzuki sf 150 this july 2023.I have drove 4k kms till now with two services done.I'm disappointed with the services they do however i love the bike. The suzuki sf 150 embodies a fusion of sporty aesthetics and practical commuter features, Making it a standout in the 150cc segment. Its sleek, Fully-faired design is reminiscent of larger sports bikes, Giving riders a thrilling experience while zipping through urban streets or taking longer rides.Engine and performance:powered by a refined 150cc single-cylinder, Air-cooled engine, The sf 150 delivers a punchy performance suitable for city commutes and occasional highway cruises. The engine's smooth power delivery and impressive mid-range torque provide a balance between efficiency and exhilarating rides.Design and ergonomics:sporting an aerodynamic fairing, The sf 150 not only looks impressive but also offers decent wind protection at higher speeds. The riding posture strikes a balance between sportiness and comfort, Making it suitable for both daily commuting and longer rides. The clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs contribute to a slightly sporty riding stance.Features and technology:equipped with a range of modern features, The sf 150 includes a fully digital instrument cluster providing vital information to the rider.Additionally, The bike might come with led lighting, Enhancing visibility and adding a modern touch to its overall appeal.Ride and handling:the bike's nimble handling and agile chassis ensure it can effortlessly weave through city traffic. The suspension setup, A telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, Strikes a balance between comfort and handling.Verdict:the suzuki sf 150 stands out in the 150cc segment by offering a blend of sportiness, Practicality, And modern features. It's an excellent choice for riders seeking a stylish commuter that doesn't compromise on performance.

    I was previously driving Discover

I was previously driving Discover 125. I was in search of a new bike. I was a bit confused between Honda Hornet, Yamaha FZS v3 and Suzuki Gizzer SF. I saw all the 3 bikes in the showroom. Hornet was not so eye catchy. So I rejected Hornet. Then I choose FZS v3, as I have heard Yamaha bikes have very refined engines. I have also test rided Gixxer SF 150. Once I saw a person parking the FZS v3 outside and it was looking so u**y after riding for sometime. Then I went straight to Suzuki showroom and booked the Gixxer SF 150. I have choosen Gixxer SF over FZS as it also have some additional features like time, gear shift indicator and also the sexy look. Whereever I goes, all people stares on my bike.Seats space: I am having a small kid of 4 yrs. There is enough room for me, my kid and my wife in the bike. We have travelled 160 kms at a stretch without any problem. Now about the performance and riding controls. Its a fun bike to ride. Performance of this bike is also very gud. We can easily cruise over 80-90 kmph without any stress to the engine. But I have not tried on this speed. Riding control is also very gud. We can easily maneuver in city traffic without any stress on your body.Milage: I got mileage of around 55-56 km before first servicing. I am not an aggressive biker. I takes atmost care of my bike. I kept speed within 60-65 kmph. Now have done my first servicing now. Serviceing cost is also cheap. I got a bill of Rs. 699/- which includes synthetic oil. After servicing I have not rode much. Will check the mileage and update. And now regarding the ABS noise. I have seen some persons complained about the noise in the ABS. But frankly speaking I am not getting any annoying noise from the ABS during hard breaking. I have checked multiple times. May be this was coming in some of the first batches of the bikes. I had purchased the bike on 13th Sept., 2019.

    Hii friends

Hii friends myself manish from bhadrak, Odisha.I have a suzuki gixxer sf 155 moto gp edition 2019 model.I have been riding this for 3years+.Like every other bikes this bike also has some advantages and disadvantages as well.Advantages-as far as the advantages is concerned, The first advantage of this bike is that it is a proper sports tourer having a decent mileage figure of around 50+ km/l, It looks really amazing i mean its a head turner. The throw of the head light is also very good at night and you don't have to install an aftermarket fog lamp or any other lighting accessories, Abs works really well and it's high speed stability is good and it don't have any woobbleing issue. No vibration at handle bar and foot pegs.Disadvantages-gear box is not smooth enough and i heard some noise while shifting the gears.Being a 155cc engine it produces less power as compared to its other rivalryswitch gears quality is below average, Smaller wind shield, Mirrors are not foldable and its fairing mountedso lets say if you are trying to adjust the mirror you will have to stop your bike.My verdict-over all its a good value for money for beginner riders.

    Eye catchy

First i will start with my buying experience.Early i was going for royal enfield classic 350 black(both bikes are of different segment) and booked it by paying 5k to the showroom. And after 2 days suzuki launched the gixxer, I went to the showroom and saw the bike and i fell in love with its looks and style. Its completely different from the previous modle. I asked them for a test ride but at that time they didn"t have the test ride vehicle and said to wait for couple of days. After some days they called me for taking test ride and after taking the test ride i just went to RE showroom and cancelled my RE booking and booked the the gixxer 155. Suzuki showroom guys are very helpful in completing the process.Riding experience/looks/performance :Bike feels very planted and stable on roads. First thing you will notice when you take it outside is that people will stair at you and your bike, its eye catchy and will ask you kitne ki ai bhai. Road presence is just awesome. I feel that Seats are little hard but again you can add cushion to you seat cover to make it comfortable. Seating position is relaxed not too much sporty like r15. Breaks are good. I can"t say much about the performance as i purchased it 5 days back so i will update you guys after the first service. Problems i am facing :1.Downshift is not proper. Every time I have to release clutch and press it again to down shift the gear. If I am in 5th gear and want to come to 2nd gear then press clutch Downshift one gear the release clutch and press it gain and the again Downshift... Like this i come to 2nd gear.. 2. Engine voice is changed after 60km continues ride ( can"t say what happened before 1st service) but yes their is some sound from engine after it heats up. 3. voice from abs motor. Its annoying. ktrrr ktrrr sound... To check it, apply main stand, switch on the ignition, rotate front wheel and apply front brakes hard. You will get to know what kind of sound i am talking about.
