    Recently Asked User Questions

    Q. Confused whether to choose Dominar 250 or Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 as my first bike and I will be using it for daily commute and occasional weekend rides. Which would Ace all the aspects ? Help me out.
    • Both bikes are good enough and have their own forte. While the Gixxer SF 250 offers a sporty riding experience, it isn’t an out-and-out sportbike. It does offer an affordable, and potentially more fun, alternative to the Honda CBR250R, making it a great option for more mature riders. Despite the sporty design, the Gixxer has fairly upright ergonomics. Its clip-on handlebars are set low, but because they’re positioned closer to the rider, you do not have to lean much to reach them. The footpegs are positioned higher and given the deep knee recesses is a snug fit for average-sized riders. They can be a problem if you are taller or wider though. Also, the high-placed footpegs, combined with the overall compact riding position, can make your knees feel uncomfortable on longer rides. Thankfully though, the seat is extremely comfortable even on longer rides thanks to its shape, width and the right amount of firmness. Its low height allows even shorter riders to comfortably place both feet on the ground. The fairing-mounted mirrors offer good rear visibility. Overall, the Gixxer 250’s riding position is suited both for city use and touring. On the other hand, the riding position is upright with tall and wide handlebars that aren’t hard to reach at all. And while the footpegs are rearset, they’re not uncomfortably so. Couple this with a fairly accessible seat height of 800mm, and riders of pretty much any height should have no problems on the Dominar. The rider’s seat is quite spacious and comfortable too. Bajaj bills the Dominar as a “Sports Tourer”, and we believe that long hours in the saddle shouldn’t be too difficult. Also, it offers better power performance and high speed stability too. So, do take a teast ride before the final call. Check out authorised dealership details. You may compare both the bike too.
    Q. Which bike is there to buy Dominar 250 or Jawa 42 also, I am not tall enough, but I like performance bike and a bit confused between these two bikes ?
    • Both the bikes are good enough as per requirements but are of different segments and both have different characteristics. If we talk about Jawa 42, it has enough power to satisfy the bulk of buyers looking to commute in the city on weekdays and holidays on the weekends. The Jawa leaves you impressed as much by its mechanicals as its appeal. Also, its seat height comparatively low and comfortable enough. So, if that sounds promising enough to you, you had better get ready to wait a bit longer as Jawa deliveries take many months. On the other hand, as a motorcycle, the Dominar 250 does one thing right -- it is fit to purpose. The Dominar 400, for example, always felt like a confused motorcycle as the 390’s motor is too manic to make for a great sports tourer. It gets the job done, but just about. On the other hand, the Dominar 250’s motor felt boring on the KTM, but combined with the comfortable tourer the Dominar is, it works beautifully. It truly feels like it deserves the ‘sports tourer’ tag. So while Bajaj might pitch it as the entry-level Dominar, we think the 250 is the Dominar in its perfect form. You may compare both the bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
    Q. Which one should be better option Bajaj Dominar 250 Or Yamaha FZ 25 ?
    • The FZ25 is poised as a large capacity bike that you will be comfortable commuting to the office every day and hitting the twisties on the weekday in. The low sticker price and accessible power make it a good upgrade over your 150/160cc bike. If you are on a budget and not in a hurry you can wait for it. On the other hand, Dominar 250 has Good price to power ratio, beefy underpinnings and comfortable ergonomics. If you want a vike for daily commutes and occasionally go for long rides too, it would be a great pick. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
