Q. I have Aprilia SR 125 it has good mileage but when I ride on hill side road or move slow than other scooter even 110 cc SCOOTERS?
  • The 125 model has to be accelerated fast before even climbing a hill. I usually climb hill with a pillion. usually I have to accelerate very hard and keep a fast speed while climbing a steep hill. If you fail to acce;erate hard and maintain a fast speed your scooter will stop half way and go backwards which can be dangerous. I have fallen 3 times because of acceleration with a pillion. This scooter is not appropriate for a hill climb with a pillion. A single rider is allright though it cannot keep pace with the 100-110 cc's on hill climbs. It's good only for snake pattern hills and plains for cornering and for ripping only. Rest you cannot expect hill climb miracles!I am riding since 2 and half years. The initial is very low. Even on plains it struggles or makes too much noise when starting to move.
  • Same problem happens with my Vespa, did you fix the problem ?? How did you fix it, pkease tell.
  • Time varying its idling.

Q. Shall I buy Aprilia SR125 or TVS Ntorq125?
  • If you're looking for a fast, fun to ride and feature-rich scooter, the TVS Ntorq 125 is the right choice for you. It still remains the benchmark for performance in its class and the sporty styling adds to its appeal. On the other and, the Storm 125 then does really seem like an Aprilia better suited for our harsh roads. The suspension soaks up bumps better than the SR and the block-pattern tyres rarely lose traction. We would have definitely loved to have more features on board but that would have only driven up the price further. The engine continues to be a small letdown. The lack of excitement from the motor doesn’t sit well with Aprilia’s racing ethos and maybe the technicians at Noale need to spend some more hours on it. The biggest hurdle for the Storm 125, though, remains its price. Hence, justifying spending the extra moolah is quite difficult. If you are in the market for something exciting in this segment, then the Yamaha RayZR 125 or the TVS NTorq 125 make better sense. You may compare both scooters accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
Q. I'm 60 years old. I'm looking for a scooter with comfortable riding position with large wheels. Since I'm having back pain suggest me a good scooter for me?
  • As per your requirements, the Aprilia SR 125 could prove to be a good option. Seating comfort is always one of the top priorities while opting for a scooter. The seat comfort on the SR 125 is a bit on the firmer side, so those used to plush scooter seats will find it takes a bit of getting used to. But that said, it isn’t uncomfortable by any means. Lengthwise, the seat looks small, but surprisingly there’s a decent amount of room for even someone on the heavier side. The overall seating posture is pretty good and while the handlebars don’t quite feel tall, they never interfere with the rider’s knees when taking U-turns. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership detals.
