Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

Price: The 350cc Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is priced at Rs 1,93,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It’s the same as the 373cc version, despite the shift to a smaller engine.

Design: In terms of design, the NS400Z has an aggressive streetfighter styling, featuring a sharp tank design, split seat setup, sporty body panels, and bold graphics, along with the four colour options (Brooklyn Black, Pearl Metallic White, Glossy Racing Red and Pewter Grey). Both the design and colour options remain the same as the older 373cc version.

Features: The NS400Z comes equipped with full-LED lighting, a digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity, a bidirectional quickshifter, multiple ride modes (Road, Rain, Sport and Offroad), traction control, and a slip-and-assist clutch, all carried over unchanged as the previous 373cc iteration.

Engine: The NS400Z is now powered by a 349.13cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 40.6PS at 9,000rpm and 33.2Nm at 7,500rpm, paired to a six-speed gearbox. Compared to the earlier 373cc version, power has dropped by 2.4PS and torque by 1.8Nm. Both peak power and torque now arrive higher in the rev range. The reduction in displacement comes from a shorter 56.1mm stroke (down from 60mm), while the bore remains unchanged at 89mm.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The NS400Z continues with a USD fork and monoshock setup, rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends, and gets disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

Rivals: The Pulsar NS400Z continues to rival bikes like the Triumph Speed T4, 350cc KTM 390 Duke, and TVS Apache RTR 310.
