Toyota Hilux Torque User Reviews

After months of discussion with my wife I finally got my hands on the Toyota Hilux and it was worth the wait. This beast with its 2.8 liter turbo diesel engine kicking out around 204 HP and 500 Nm of torque made me feel like the king of the road. The 6 speed automatic transmission has been smooth like butter and the 4WD capability meant I could take it anywhere city roads, highways or muddy trails.But the Hilux’s mileage comes around 12 kmpl, made me wish for a bit more fuel efficiency specially with the rising fuel prices in India.

The Toyota Hilux is a famous pickup through out the world and this pickup is the most reliable with excellent build quality. The front look is like innova crysta and the interior get everything that need and the front seats are very wide and comfortable for the long rides. This is a very premium pickup with the decent enough but the thigh support is not good in the second row. The power and torque is wonderful and is great pickup for all types of roads but feel bouncy although when full load the ride is nice.

In terms of off roading capability it is very easy but the paddle shifter should be there. It is very comfortable and easy to go anywhere with this car and the diesel engine is very powerful with the high power and torque and the visibility in this car is really very high. The space in the cabin is good and get nice glass area but the back seats are more upright that cause uncomfortable. The interior is good enough and the storage space is very nice but the charging point is not available in the back seat.

My Toyota Hilux is a mid-size pickup truck which exceeds my expectations . The Hilux comes with a 2.8L turbo-diesel engine that provides a decent power and torque.
