A Crossover, a Sports car, a compact sports tourer and more, March 2015 has quite a few new cars coming your way. To know all about the upcoming launches log on to zigwheels.com

Hyundai i20 Active

Hyundai i20 Active: Spy pictures of the crossover version of the Elite i20 have been making their rounds on the internet for a while and now Hyundai is getting ready to launch it in our market on March 17. So far, it was speculated that Hyundai will christen this car as the Hyundai i20 Cross but the Korean car maker believes that it is more than just a crossover. That said, like the Toyota Etios Cross the Hyundai i20 Active too will have chunky plastic claddings all around, a bulkier bumper with integrated fog lamp casings. Needless to say that Hyundai would have raised the suspension of the i20 Active to give it better ground clearance. The Hyundai i20 Active will be priced around Rs 50,000 higher than the Elite i20 and will go up against the likes of the Ford EcoSport and the Toyota Etios Cross.

2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class

2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class:  After the launch of the CLA-Class and the C-Class diesel this year, Mercedes-Benz will now bring in the 2015 B-Class on March 11. Although the new B-Class doesn't sport too many changes over the outgoing model it does get new front bumpers with larger air intakes and also a new rear bumper. The grille too has been redesigned. The 2015 B-Class will now come with 16-inch or optional 17-inch alloy wheels. On the inside the new B-Class will get a larger infortainment system and a new steering wheel. It will also come with a start/stop feature. Under the hood, the new B-Class will continue to be offered in petrol as well as diesel engine options and while the petrol unit will remain the B200 CDI will make it to Indian shores. We expect Mercedes to price it marginally higher than the current model but lower than the CLA-Class.

2015 Audi TT

2015 Audi TT: Test mule of the 2015 Audi TT has been making its rounds in Mumbai for more than six months but now the wait for the launch is about to end. The German car maker is set to bring a refreshed version of its sportscar offering towards the end of March. In the looks department, the new Audi TT draws its inspiration from the original TT and the Sport Quattro Concept. The facelifted Audi TT now looks a lot sharper and aggressive than before thanks to its trapezoidal family grille and the LED headlights and taillights. The outgoing Audi TT was available only in a petrol variant but this time round it might even be introduced with a diesel heart. At Rs 60 lakh the 2015 Audi TT will be marginally cheaper than the BMW Z4 and the Porsche Boxter.
