Code named the XA Alpha, Maruti Suzuki will introduce an all-new mini-SUV based on the Swift platform by the end of 2013
Expected: End of 2013, Price: Rs. 7 lakh
With the success of the Mahindra XUV 5OO and Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki unveiled its own all-new mini-SUV, the XA Alpha concept at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi. Based on the Swift platform and sticking to the SUV DNA this new mini-SUV has extremely short front and rear overhangs, funky headlights, and thick C-pillar. The interiors are likely to be similar to the Swift and Swift Dzire. It will sport the K-series petrol engine and 1.3-litre diesel powerplant. It will be interesting to see how this one is priced.

What is the use of posting comments unless you pass on the same to Maruti. And there is no feedback as to what happened after you receive the comments. You are not updating your site. Atleast tell and share honestly the information, even if you do not have any; tell the date of information. This is for new suv from Maruti.

Maruti customers cannot wait but going for ecosport, duster and others. Atleast Maruti should declare the probable date of launch and design of production model of SUV ALPHA. Speculation must end that it is end 2013 and 2014 or 2015. If Maruti cannot do this, they are not sure about their product, I feel. At least, I cannot wait endlessly.
