The Skoda Superb is an important car model for the Czech marque and the next generation version is scheduled for a world debut by February 2015. Skoda is planning to officially unveil the 2015 Skoda Superb at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015 and commence sale in Europe by mid-2015.

Last week Skoda had shared a few images of a camouflaged 2015 Skoda Superb test car, but now the company has released the first ever undisguised teaser images of the new luxury sedan. The new generation Skoda Superb will be based on the new Volkswagen Passat, but is said to be slightly longer than the VW.

The 2015 Skoda Superb will follow the company’s new design language which is seen on the new Skoda Fabia and 2014 Skoda Octavia with the bonnet slightly extend and overlapping the front grille. The grille comes with horizontal slats and is flanked by a pair of sleek headlights with integrated LED DRLs (daytime running lights).

The side profile has well defined creases, with a strong shoulder line and VW Passat like roof line that smoothly merges with the tail.  The 2015 Skoda Superb will not carry forward the dual opening boot, but will get some new features like Skoda’s MirrorLink pairing system and a new touch-screen infotainment system.

The 2015 Skoda Superb will be offered with a petrol TSI option and a diesel TDI engine options, and later could also come as a plug-in hybrid variant. The new 2015 Skoda Superb will be launched in India in the beginning of 2016 and is expected to be priced between Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
