Deliveries for the all-new Toyota Corolla Altis will begin late May with both petrol and diesel options on sale

With the launch of the new Corolla Altis just around the corner, Toyota India has officially launched a new website displaying the intricate details of the all-new 2014 model. Prices for the Corolla Altis will be start at around Rs 14 lakh for the petrol-engined cars with the manual gearbox and Rs 16 lakh for the automatic version. The new 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis will be available in seven different colors, including two shades of gold and a shade of blue, black, gold, grey and silver each. The new Corolla Altis will feature first in class features like reclining rear seats wrapped in beige leather and large 7.1-inch touch screen infotainment display. The new Corolla will also come with features like a reversing camera, navigation and keyless entry. Other features include an electronically adjustable driver’s seat, rear sunshade and reading lamp and a rear power socket.

2014 Toyota Corolla Altis

Two engines will power the 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis in India. The 1.8-litre VVT-i, 4-cylinder, petrol engine will make a respectable 140PS of peak power and 173Nm of peak torque. The petrol versions will be available with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.4-litre D4-D, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine comes only with the 6-speed manual gearbox and makes 88.5PS and 205Nm of torque.

The 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis can be booked at any Toyota dealer throughout the country for a booking amount of Rs 50,000 with deliveries expected to start around the end of May. Also Read: 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis: First Review
