Renault Scala : Special Coverage
Renault's second attempt at badge engineering after toying with the Pulse hatchback earlier, the Scala is essentially a Nissan Sunny under the skin. While differences between the two mid-sized sedans are purely cosmetic, they have given the Scala the ability to tap a slightly higher clientele, albeit a higher price tag. The Scala being a spacious, comfortable and value for money vehicle hits the sweet spot for Indian customers. This, perhaps, is just the car Renault needs to crack the Indian market.
Renault is all set to launch a new car in the Indian market. Christened the Scala, this entry level sedan will be a rebadged version of the Nissan Sunny, and will go on sale around Diwali this year
