The Tata Hexa is the latest offering from the Indian auto giant. The MPV-crossover is based on Tata’s new Impact design philosophy. Showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo for the first time in India, the BMW G 310 R is a motorcycle that has been highly anticipated by many bike enthusiasts. The G 310 R has been designed in Germany by BMW Motorrad and will be manufactured in India under a joint venture with TVS Motors. The motorcycle has made it first public debut at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy. With styling cues borrowed from BMW Motorrad’s flagship model the S1000R, the G 310 R isn’t very aggressive but is definitely an appealing motorcycle. The engine powering the machine is a 313cc liquid cooled motor that develops 35PS of power and 28Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The sixth generation Hyundai Elantra has been launched in India carrying a Sticker price of Rs 12.99 lakh for the base petrol variant and Rs 19.99 lakh for the top-spec diesel variant (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in nine variants, the all-new Elantra has been built on a new platform making the sedan longer and wider in dimensions. The car is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. While the petrol is an all-new 2.0-litre mill, the diesel motor is been carry forwarded from its predecessor. Datsun has launched the much-awaited redi-GO at a starting price of Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The redi-GO is the third offering by Datsun for India and will rival Maruti Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and the Renault Kwid. Toyota has launched the much-awaited Innova Crysta at a starting price of Rs 13.84 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The car comes with 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre engines to choose from. The BR-V is the first compact SUV offering from Honda for India. It will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options.
